Good to hear they got it sorted for you mate :High 5: :smokebuds:

It's one thing to say something to make someone happy but you then have to follow thru. Boo to gotham, I rushed to get the defective unit returned and was told a new one would go out when I provided Return info. That was friday before noon. They recieved unit monday. New one has not shipped yet.

Second time I've had issues, last time paid for expedited shipping. Took 2 weeks. :hot:

Hello ,AFN. What do you think is max wattage (true watt) per square meter for blackstar uv flowering model. For young and for mature plants.Just dont wanna damage my girls. Thanks

I am by no means a techy type of guy:smokebuds: but I run a blackstar 240. When I am vegging, I keep the light about 22 inches from the top of the plant, and just raise as the plant grows, too keep it at 22 inches. Once the plant is done growing vertically and starting to bud, I drop it down so it is around 16-18 inches away from the top. Hope this helps you a little bit at least:stylez rasta smoke:

I've "heard" the true wattage is around 130..... As far as burning your plants you'd have to try pretty hard to do that. Like stylez said 20-24 inches in veg and I have had my 240 as close as 6-8 inches in flower and no sign of burn or stress.

:smokebuds:

i have a few blackstar's and 18 t0 20 inch's veg. and as rob said a get them down to six inch's in flowering. one good thing about , the blackstar 240uv.... is the uv! when you bring these light's in close, the bud's pump out resin, to protect the plant, mostly from the uv. guess who benifit's from more resin on the bud.:smoke:you do!:smokeit:

Thanks 4 your answers, but still I can't find what I need.i understood, that if i put 1 blackstar 240w uv(130 watt) in one square meter it's nothing dangerous, but if i put say 1000 (REAL) watt of same type of lighting its gonna be all good?thanks again.
