Lighting Blue Amnesia, Candy Kush - MS0006 LED - SmartPot/Airpot

Hey Everyone - So, this is the second grow I've done, my first one I grew a Bio Diesel Mass and ended up yielding about 50 grams dry. Currently I have two going at different stages. Here are some details:

Tent - 36" wide x 18" deep X 63" tall - 20/4 Light Schedule

Candy Kush

-5 weeks old
-3 gallon smart pot with 2:2:1 ratio of OF:Light Warriorerlite
-Vegged under 2' 4 light T5HO
-Started flower under Black Star 240 switched to GN MS0006 about a week ago
-Started LST when the plant was about 2 weeks old but I think I went a little hard at first and stunted it.
- I water with distilled water that I bubble for at least 24 hours, usually gets a good 48 though.
- Started with Trio nutes, but transitioning slowly to AN nutes I just got. Sensi Grow, Sensi Bloom, and the hobbyist bundle (voodo juice, overdrive, big bud, b-52), I also supplement with Cal/Mag because of the LED and distilled water.

Blue Amnesia

- 3 days for breaking breaking the soil
- 3 Gallon equivalent AirPot
- 90%/10% mix of ProMix BX / Perlite
- Will veg and flower under GN MS0006
- Watering with same distilled water bubbled for 24-48 hours
- No nutes yet but will be using the same AN line up.

In for this one..I've got a blue amnesia at 13 days and another seed that just popped. Also have 3 candy kush for later on. We must like the same strains brother :smokebuds:

Sweet deal man! I've been a bit surprised it has been pretty tough to find other journals with these two strains. More have actually been popping up in the past little while here, so I guess they could be newer strains or something.

I was checking out your journal too and those girls look like beasts! I'm super interested in seeing how the purple cheese comes out thats another one I have on my ever growing list of strains to try out.

Nice bro! Got 2 candy kush of my own right now! And I have looked at the auto blue amnesia by ministry of cannabis! Subbed and watching the candy grow!That ocean forest could be what hurt it if you sowed it directly! It's hard to hurt a plant with LST! Unless you pop a branch!

I'm hoping for a bigger yield from the candy kush as it has the auto pounder genetics in it. Just waiting on my other LED's to arrive and they'll be in the ground

Yea that's definitely true, I know everyone says the OF is too hot even when you cut it but I really didn't see any burn on it when it was a seedling. Regardless, I'm excited to see the comparison to how the blue amnesia does in the Promix, should be much more conducive for the seedling and give me a little more control over the nutes.

Yea I've got a 5:1 ratio of happy frog and ocean forest plus some added perlite! Seems to be getting it done right now.

I have just started using my new AN nutes for the past 1 or 2 waterings, but with my Blue Amnesia being just a fresh seedling, having no experience with these nutes, and using ProMix BX for the first time I was hoping someone could help with some guidance on a starting feeding schedule. I came up with just a high level schedule based mostly off the schedule provided by AN only with the amounts reduced a ton. Here is what I have:


* all measurements are ml per gallon.

I realize that it may need to be tweaked as a I go along if the plant is super sensitive or ends up being a nute hog, but for a general base schedule does this look reasonable? Should I be giving my seedling any nutes at all for now?

Oh, and missing from the schedule is cal/mag, but I add 5ml per gallon to all of my water regardless of plant age or what other nutes/additives I'm adding. I also PH my water to 6.2 for the ProMix and 6.5 for the OF mix.

Hey wwwillie, thanks for checkin it out!

I was actually pretty shocked, I pulled the 50 grams off a single BDM plant on my first grow, they really are a forgiving plant. I really think bubbling my water for 24 hours and staying on top of my PH as best I could made all the difference.

Good luck with your BDM I don't think you will be dissapointed!
