Haha I know I've seen a bunch too, they have been under the 'special offers' and has been on their top rated as well, thats the reason I grabbed them and I wouldnt be surprised if it was the same for some others.

I think my Candy Kush may be having some sort of deficiency, from stuff I've seen on here and other forums it seems like it could be a touch of calcium and maybe nitrogen deficiency? Some of the lower leaves are yellowing and a bunch of stems are bright red/purple.




I also have one leaf that has some pretty heavy purpling, there was a 2 day period where the day time temps in my tent were in the low 60's, much much too low and since corrected, could this be the cause?




Oh, and if it helps at all the Candy Kush is 6 weeks old. Thanks for the help everyone!

So. with Muddy's help this definitely seems to be a low pH issue, most likely caused by the OF soil as I did add lime to the soil mix and I pH my water to 6.5 before every feed, but its locking out P and Mag.

Muddy did give good advice on how to correct, though I did take a little of my own artistic license on what I ended up doing.

Last night I top dressed the soil with ~2.5 tbsp of agricultural lime and dolomite lime, (are these 2 the same?) the agricultural lime was in a completely ground/powdered form and the dolomite lime was in more of a pellet form so I thought it best to mix the 2. I then gave it a heavy watering of pHed water, not nearly enough to consider it a flush but a decent amount of water. The run off was coming in at just under 7 after this.

Today I gave a light feed with 1/4 strength nutes and cal mag just to try and add a little sustenance back into the soil that I may have leached out. Of course the water was pHed to 6.5 exactly and runoff was coming in at 6.6 - 6.7. Maybe I slightly over corrected but it seems for soil i'd prefer to be just a touch over 6.5 rather than under.

I have to travel for 2 days for the holidays which definitely makes me a bit nervous but when I get back on Friday or Saturday I guess it will be the moment of truth so to speak. I will update with pictures then!

My Candy Kush still seems to be hurting a little bit. I gave her full strength feeding tonight (sensi bloom, voodoo juice, b52, big bud, calmag) since I did a heavy heavy no food watering when I was trying to get the pH up. Tonight I water with pH at exactly 6.5 and the run off was 6.7, so it seems like I should start to see improvement in the next little bit here.





The Blue Amnesia seedling is now at day 12, she seems to be doing pretty well so far, though the RH in my tent is hovering right around 30-35% so it is a bit lower than I would ideally like.





I also got a brand new carbon filter as I noticed over the past couple weeks it looked as though maybe the carbon got too damp or something in my last filter and I was losing the negative pressure in my tent. I did a bit of research and went with a Phresh filter, so I am pretty stoked to see how it handles all the smell in the peak of flowering! Kinda hard to see the filter in the pics below but I wanted to add some full tent shots as well.






Fingers crossed I start to see more improvement on the Candy Kush!!!!

Twig lookn nice I have a Candy kush going too.. were at about the same time im hittin 7 weeks was getting some yellowing too so far my ph is good time will tell if its not her or a def been givin her calmag also..keep it up want to see all the Ck porn there is...

Yea I am def also pumpin my CK with calmag, a little more even then the 5ml/gal max that it states on my bottle. The distilled water and LED combo I'm workin with creates the perfect storm for calmag issues I think.

is it possible to give them too much calmag? In my last grow for like a month I was being thick headed and fed a Tbsp per gal instead of a Tsp and I really didn't notice much of a differnce between the two.

Sup yea i heard you could get more probs with dist h2o n led..it is poss to give too much cal/mag..could create a lockout..but just see how shes growing not sure if there is any after effects of too much like taste wise etc...besides burning and locking out other elements...CK seems to be a hungry one
