Lighting Blue Amnesia, Candy Kush - MS0006 LED - SmartPot/Airpot

Hey Everyone-


Been awhile since an update so here we go.


Blue Amnesia - Day 18

Blue Amnesia is doing well, last feed gave her a very very low taste of Sensi Grow (1ml/gal) and some CalMag. She by far also shows the most vigorous growth I've had from a young plant, I think the GN LED is to thank for it too. I normally do T5 but they always seem to stay real real short. Some of the pictures look slightly more yellow/brown then she really is, I think its the camera drawing in color from the wall behind her or my flash.





Candy Kush - Day 53

Had a battle with pH, it's now dead on at 6.5 in 6.5 out. She has been thickening up and getting frosty, I think the issues with pH put some stress on her though and her size and yield look like they took a little hit.

Oh, the other thing I noticed was some strange growth on the Blue Amnesia I have never seen before. Looks like a little leaf sprouting under the cotyledon? Anyone seen this before? Is this just a mutation in the plant?

I think the fact that mine are like 1/3 of the height of your CKs has got to have a lot to do with that, based on what I've been seein with mine though you're in for a huge treat once that do start swellin like crazy!

Thanks for swingin by and checkin it out! Ya know, to be completely honest, from my first grow I used smartpots so I can't necessarily tell you how much better they are than regulars from experience. What I can tell you is that either air pots or smart pots seem to be very very widely used and from everything I've seen can produce some beasts. I know they both promote air pruning for the roots and help avoid getting nasty root balls and such.

The Blue Amnesia will be my first grow with air pots and she already is getting bigger faster than either of my previous 2, could also be the new GrowNorthern LED I just put in, but either way it's lookin better and better every day!

How's she doing man? I'm loving my blue amnesia. I have another that has a leaf around the cotyledon like that. Maybe something with this strain?
