I'd like to get a little test up on my next round with the two spot on seedlings - see what sort of height they like and how the growth gets on.

well blue, i have a six spot chrome blackstar, and it has the same switching, that your grow northern has, i have started three grow's on it and my height for seedling's was two spot's at 30 inch's. with no stretch.:smokebuds:your distance probably will be different, the chrome has three different beam angle's in degree's, they may not be the same with gn?mr tang would know!: i am sure he will make a appearence.

Well, if it's just a casual thread regarding GN, then may as well mention to you guys, i have my second oo6, ordered at 1.30 pm yesterday. delivered at 11.30 this morning, where do you get service like that?
I spoke to dan the telephone man, and he was good enough to inform me that as i'd bought a light only a fortnight ago, i was entitled to a discount of two items, hence £30 knocked off this light. If your buying one, then team up and get a discount. Hope you don't mind blue.:Thank You:

...The advice I was given is the advice i would give to you. If you go for the ms0006, you get a switch that will allow 2 spots for germination and seedling stage, 4 spots for most of the growth and then pump up the power with 6 for full flowering!...

Appreciate the reply, blue. My reason for leaning towards the GN0004 is that it's smaller and lighter, and I will be carrying it back from the UK (along with some parsley and basil seeds for an alibi :twist. Importing it directly will mean some hefty excise duty to pay, and may arouse suspicions at the post office. My grow area is just a square metre as well. Decisions, decisions...

Hey Cannaficianado The Gn004 is definitely a nice portable size, but in honesty, the packaging that my gn006 was no bigger than a brief case. Very nicely packed! I was originally looking at the 0004 because it is actually perfect for the size i have - but the additional cost of the 0006 was so slight, and the option of turning 2/4/6 modules on at any one time just made it a more sensible (slightly more future proof) buy for me!

I'm only running the power of an 0004 at the moment.

Either one of them will rock in that space to be honest! Decisions decisions...
