W/ LEDs I'd say you've got about a 2 week window and w/ CFLs I think it's closer to 3 weeks ... I normally wouldn't let a plant get quite that amber but it got ahead of me .... it was kick ass smoke ...

Day 63. I was thinking I'd harvest after she finished drying out which will probably be in a day or two. Then I take a good look at the buds with loupe and I think she's still adding mass. I still don't see many Amber trichomes. Will it be okay to let her keep going for a little longer?

Also, does anyone know anything about the stuff in the pics? Guy at the store gave it to me. I can't find much about it on line. I don't think it's organic and the label has mostly marketing and no real info or list of ingredients.

Haven't seen many comments lately. Is anyone still with me? Peace.

Thanks, guys. I know big sis ain't much to look at, but I'm proud of her. It took me several tries to get to this point. Yet, despite everything I did wrong I did some stuff right! In going to keep a close eye on her buds and just give her EWC/Molasses AACT tomorrow when I water her. I can't believe she's still going. Haha!

Thought I'd give an update with pics on little sis. She's five weeks old today and she's looking much healthier than big sis did at this age. You guys helped me so much!

She's about six inches tall and seems fairly healthy. Her bottom leaves got burned I think because they touched the soil after a feeding. However, and more importantly, she's already starting to get frosty up top! Whoot!!! She's still under a mix of 60/40 blue/red CFL 23w each. I'm going to give her a feeding tomorrow of liquid kelp and 1/2 strength 5-1-1 Alaska fishy grow.

I'm planning to move little sis into the other box when I harvest big sis. Peace.

I've been searching for ideas to see if there might be a better way to lst little sis. I can't be sure, but I think big sis might have been stunned a bit when I tied her down. If she grows like big sis did I probably have about 7-10 days before she's ready to hit the lights. If I don't come up with anything better I'll just do the same thing, but try to do it a little more gradually. Peace.

I like to start lst pretty early. Most of my experience with it is on photos, but I start 10-14 days old. The younger and supple the tissue is the easier it is to bend with out breaking, and faster it will take it. I'd start working on lil' sis now, so you can anticipate further growth, and train it too. Maybe bend her over, run her to the side of the pot, and if she is still growing/stretching run her around the edge of the pot. You may want to put a counter tie near the roots this time. She is smaller than big sis was, so her roots SHOULD be smaller as well. Where ever you make your first bend, just add counter tie on the opposite side.It gives the plant something to pull against while not shocking the root zone. Hope that makes sense, I'm pretty stoned. Remember, whatever you do, have fun with it! :smoking:

Also, a cheap easy anchor (tie down) idea would to use safety pins. Attach a few to the pots edge, and tie your tape to it. Easy on, easy off, and no perma damage to the pot.:d5:
