New Grower Blue Mystic First Grow

The nursery didn't have small bags of cow manure compost in small bags. They had Espoma garden manure. It's 4-2-2 and labeled as a fertilizer. Looks like it's mainly composted chicken manure. Will this work is in N too high for late bloom?

Dont know, sorry Curls. I dont know bout indoor feeding, I don't play the N-P-K numbers game, I don't check my soil PH. I use very little "ferts". I concentrate on making sure SOIL IS FED regularly with compost / ewc juice teas as explained earlier (ACTIVATED AERATED COMPOST TEAS), which you will now make with your bubbler. Eyes has told you what you need, now go chase down some shit lol.
:baked:

So I brewed up my first AACT and gave it to both girls yesterday. I only made 1-1/2 gal which was just about right. I started out by bubbling tap water for about two days. Then I added big 1/3 cup EWC and maybe 3/4 tbsp molasses and let that bubble for about 24 hours. Then I added 1-1/2 tbsp of kelp meal and let that bubble for another 12 hours. Then I added 1 tbsp frass aND let it bubble for 30 more minutes. I read that kelp cab put microbes in EWC tea to sleep so the combo needs a longer brew time. I added the frass as I'm hoping it helps increase fungal life and resin production. Here are a few quick pics. Big sis is basically a thick woody stem covered in fairly dense 1-1/2" -chunky buds. Her main cola is about 3 2-1/2" tall. I estimate she has about 18 or so buds that are roughly this size then the main cola. I'm guessing I might get 1/2-3/4 oz dried. I am still seeing new flower development on the buds and she is still getting frosty. I'm seeing more clear trichomes on the new bud growth. She is approximately 60 days old today. I'm guessing she may be ready to harvest in a week or so, but I'll keep a close eye to see how buds look. I am detecting a musty smell from bottom of smart pot so I put her up on some flat rocks to help improve airflow.

Also posting a pic of little sis. She is 4 weeks old. Her bottom leaves are yellow. And the next set up is starting to yellow a bit. I'm planning to give her half strength fishy 5-1-1 next watering.

Peace.

I've grown a lot of Blue Mystics ... I think you're 3-4+ weeks from harvest ... JMHO ... :pass:
Hey Chester, She'll be nine weeks old on Thursday and it looks like flower poduction us slowing down. Thinking I might harvest her this weekend once she's dried out from her last watering. I'm seeing probably 75/25 orange to white hairs and mostly milky trichomes, some clear and a very few amber. I read some strains don't turn amber. I can't find anything specific to Blue Mystic. Since yove grown these befor wondering if you give me any advise?

I get the feeling her soil life is lacking or imbalanced, sorry eyes, haven't had time to keep up with afn last week or so. Agree on tea of course lol. Curls, you can set up a tea brewer cheap...do it,well worth it, you'll see lol, it's the best investment you can make if you wanna do organic well imo. Feed your soil and your soil will feed your plants.

I realized that I never inoculated the bio char nor did I completely moisten the soil prior to planting the seeds. Now I think that might be partly why she struggled so much. I will do this before planting next time. In fact I think it was probably close to three weeks before I wet the entire pot while watering. I'm guessing that all the frass and ewc didn't activate unail they got wet.

Does she have that nice Blue Mystic Berry smell?

Hey Hot Bunz, I think I read your Blue Mystic grow journal. Do you have any tips for harvest, cure for this stain?

I generally go by the overall appearance of the plant in determining harvest time ... I like the pistils to be 90% brown and shriveled up ... Here is a friend's Blue Mystic a few days before harvest ...

Do you happen to remember how many days or weeks? My plant's leaves have looked like shite for a while so I can't go by that. I took a few pics of her buds today. Would you mind taking a look?

From the looks of the buds I'd say you are in "early harvest window" and can harvest anytime you're ready ... look like nice sticky buds ... The plant above was harvested about a week after the photo w/ lots of dark amber trichs ...
