Linage: Gastro Pop (Compound Genetics) x Strawberry Fog (Wicked Pissah)

The setup:
Mars Hydro FCE 4800
AC Infinity tent modified to 35"x35"x72"
5 gal RainScience bags
Sunshine Mix #4, peat mix soil
rainwater with MegaCrop 1 part pH 6.3

Germination:
Soaked 2 beans for about 12 hr and dropped them into a box on a heat mat. One cracked open quick and stalled the other was just hanging out. I left them for 24hrs and went check on them The one that cracked the day before almost jumped out of the box. The other cracked and is stalled. Hopefully she jumps up like the first one.

Day 1 was 4/21
I'm just getting this tent back up and running. Always a battle trying to get everything dialed in again. I need to get some more plants going to make use of all this floor space.

The second bean had a tiny tail but hasn't done anything. I cracked the shell open and dropped the bean into soil. Hopefully something picks up. Just in case, I dropped the last Gastro Jr. to soak.

Looking forward to it. Unfortunately I didn't see much info on the Gastro Jr. It would be good to know how big she can get but I guess we'll find out.

I said F it and dropped the 3rd bean into the germination box (along with another) after a short soak.

So I'm 2.5/3 on the germination. The second one popped but didn't have a big enough tail to bring her to the next level. It's a good thing I started up the 3rd bean and good news, she is up and running. Two Gastro Jr's up and running. They are about a week apart and doing well.

Boaring stuff right now. Just a bit of water and light. Maintaining at around 80°F and 65%rh.

Gastro Jr. - Day 8 / Day 5 I'm going split the difference and call this Day 7- Week 1 for both going forward.

Nothing super exciting going on. We are just settling into the space. Both plants are looking good. Im battling VPD with some lower humidity during these early stages of veg so I have the humidifier running almost constantly. Other than that, all is good

Plain water for now. I will start to lightly feed once I see preflower. Then it's really game on to see what these girls can do.

Gastro Jr. - Week 2

They are doing well, enjoying the environment so far. I'm going to start to give them a small bit of nutients with this next watering. Going with MegaCrop 1 part for veg and will add in Humbolt CrystalBurst as we get into flower. I typically top my plants to help control growth. Since I have 2 going, I will top one and let the other go ol' natural with some trimming and LST. Other than that, they will be treated the same way.

Currently getting about 640 PPFD @ 18/6 =DLI of 41.5

Day 16 for the older one. I just noticed she is missing one of her lower branches. Not really a big deal for me because I usually clip those off. They never seam to produce like the rest. I'll clip her wings when I top it. The other plant looks fine so far but not developed enough to tell if there are any missing limbs.

Day 19 for the older one so that means time to top her off. I chopped the first node and topped above the 5th node to give me 8 mains. Looking good. I'll be feeding her tomorrow.

Day 14 on the tentmate. Doing well.
