The second bean had a tiny tail but hasn't done anything. I cracked the shell open and dropped the bean into soil. Hopefully something picks up. Just in case, I dropped the last Gastro Jr. to soak.

So I'm 2.5/3 on the germination. The second one popped but didn't have a big enough tail to bring her to the next level. It's a good thing I started up the 3rd bean and good news, she is up and running. Two Gastro Jr's up and running. They are about a week apart and doing well.
Boaring stuff right now. Just a bit of water and light. Maintaining at around 80°F and 65%rh.

Gastro Jr. - Day 8 / Day 5 I'm going split the difference and call this Day 7- Week 1 for both going forward.
Nothing super exciting going on. We are just settling into the space. Both plants are looking good. Im battling VPD with some lower humidity during these early stages of veg so I have the humidifier running almost constantly. Other than that, all is good

I spotted some preflowers on the older one at Day 25. Doing well. To say she is in stretch would understatement. I tied down the branches and I'm just letting her basically go from here.
I can't really leave well enough alone and knowing how leggy these can get, I yanked the other one over and tied it down at the top.

I ended up splitting another stem from the main. I tied it up and she kept trucking like nothing happened. Doing well and settling into flower. I bumped feed up and accidently over shot my intended EC of 1.2. Ended up feeding at an EC of 1.8. I saw some slight tip burn but nothing too bad. I will aim to be in the EC 1.6 range for the rest of the grow.
The younger of the two is doing well. This one is about a week behind and stretching but I think overall she is a little smaller than the other one.

Day 19 for the older one so that means time to top her off. I chopped the first node and topped above the 5th node to give me 8 mains. Looking good. I'll be feeding her tomorrow.

Doing well and blowing up. I think the stretch is finally over for the older one and she's a beast. Shes been super thirtsty lately too. We have little hedgehogs and some frost forming. So far so good.

I'm having issues controlling humidity because my extraction fan is working over time in the little tent. Not soooo much of an issue right now but it's getting to a point that I have to leave the tent open. Luckily it doesn't smell worse than the cat box yet so I'm ok. I don't expect to be able to leave the door open for much longer.
Got some frosty forming on the older topped plant and the side branches on the none topped plant are making a good run. I think the topped plant has the edge. I'm getting some yellowing lower leaves on the topped plant and one actually fell off on me. Not really sure what's going on but it shouldn't really matter at this point.
Leaf rub is sweet and really reminiscent of old school bud from back in the day. Really looking forward to sampling.
