Harvest & Curing Boveda 62%

I own some for my garden but have never used them.its all about feel and texture to me.imo as it should be,but with the packs and simple burping schedule for a week then another week as the texture continues to improve for the big sleep and longer time(usally about 2-3.5 weeks depending) between burping.then you'll be golden

Agreed. Texture and feel for me, now anyway. But I would highly recommend using a hydrometer until your comfortable and know what your looking for. But IMO as it relates to jarring, a proper drying process is important. It'll cut your stress level down when it comes to curing.

Yeah I'm going to use one better safe than sorry. I'm trying paper bag method for the first time so see how that goes

I use a hygrometer until my bud is near the target humidity. I use the 59%, 62% is too damp for my liking, the 3% decrease makes a difference if you smoke bud straight from the jar. And I've had bud thought to long have been dry, still at 68-70% humidity several days later, requiring additional drying. Buy another meter, its cheaper than rotten bud............

Final humidity after curing is personal taste. I like the 59% for rolling joints. But I mostly vape and it doens't matter what the humidity is. In fact, the drier the better! I cure for 3 weeks to 2 months, depends on the strain. I find low odor strains develope wonderful aroma when cured longer

Does anyone bother using a hydrometer when you use bovedas? I bought a hygrometer and it's way out of whack. Can't be arsed to buy another one.

yeah man a drier bud is faarr nicer to roll a doober dude man, uhh LOL man. a tad too tight and you cant smoke it no matter what ya do if its too wet LOL!

but for me I notice a massive difference if I use less than 62 in the jar. i do like to leave it out for 30 minutes prior to rolling a doobie ideally but a bong is nice for moist bud LOL! just cleaned mine DAMN what a pain LOL

yep, the bong will take it green with a good torch...LOL

:hookah:

I put my cured, ground weed in Altoids tins for the vape it gets dry to my liking in them and works great in the vape.
