What TSN means is keep the 90 and save up for the 240 and use them both to see how LED by itself helps the plants grow. ;) The difference between the 180 and 240 in price is minimal for the difference in production. I have both the 180 and the 240 and wish I saved the extra 60 bucks and grabbed another 240.

thank you everybody for your helpful advice. i will be keeping my 90 after all and will also be getting a 180 or 240. this way like tsn said i will use the 90 for vegging and then switch to the stronger light for flowering so i can save on my electric bill. i would do the constant grow but i have had gnat issues and i want a chance to whipe everything out before i start another grow. thanks again you guys/gals have been awesome +rep to everyone. keep spreading the love and may good karma reside with you.

If you want, you can do what I did and a week before harvest I germed a rotation and wiped down my 2 rooms after the whole harvest just out your ladies in party cups with Ziploc bags loosely over them for humidity and sterilization. They need high humidity anyway for a week and you can just pull them out for an hour and clean. That way you don't put off your grows any further than you have too. I had some sort of decaying vegetation only eating roaches that started to nest from outdoors and I had to wipe down my area pretty good but it only took an hour and the stuff gets vented from my fan anyway.

hi everyone im new here and my english sucks.i want you think about floraled spectra led panel 119 is a 120w led with a 120o light coverage.its ok to grow 5 autos in a 80cm by 60cm room.thanks a lot.

That's really not enough information about your light to know if it would be good. Do you have the full specifications or a link to where you bought it?

Lighting system 119 is equipped SpectraPANEL high power LED to provide a bright light.

Like the rest of the products we offer, does not emit heat SpectraPANEL 119 and require no reflectors or cooling systems. When a SpectraPANEL primti 119 just to connect (Plug & Play).

What can cultivate SpectraSPOT 36?

The lighting SpectraPANEL 119, you can continue to cultivate throughout the year. A variety of plants can grow flowers, vegetables, herbs ... (orchids, roses, wildflowers, tulips, hydrangea, basil, strawberries, peppers, etc. ...).

This system emits very little heat!

It is equipped with a cooling system that regulates the temperature of LEDs. These new LED technology does not emit enough heat to burn plants. In this way you can put the system closer to the plants.

What is the purpose of SpectraPANEL 119?

It is designed for locations with insufficient light for growing plants. SpectraPANEL 119 can be used for:

* Shops
* Places for rest
* Cultures of orchids
* Laboratories
* Universities
* Some florists
* Cultures of amateurs

119 SpectraPANEL Advantages:

1) Economics. Current savings compared with other crops lighting inside.
The LED lighting systems for growing plants can save significantly. LED technology allows the choice of plants ideal spectrum.
In addition, systems emit very little heat, failure to consume the energy released as heat.

2) lamp and ballast should not be renewed regularly.
LEDs are electronic components that have a lifespan of between 50,000 and 100,000 hours.

3) Do not need a separate cooling system.
All our products have a built-in cooling system. Quarrying is hot air, is a maximum temperature of 22 oC.

4) This system is environmentally friendly, contains no traces of mercury.
Unlike other horticultural lighting systems, our systems do not contain mercury and other chemicals harmful to the environment.

5) Can be used for any type of culture: culture hydroponic aeroponice, soil ...
Our systems can be used for any type of culture, placed above the plants.

6) There is no risk of overheating or explodarii bulb. It is equipped with a temperature control system can control the temperature of light.
Should not be afraid to touch the sprayed plants or bulbs! All our systems are equipped with protection. You can reach the surface or sprayed system without the risk of explosion or fire.

7) weighs only 2.35 kg!
It is so easy hanging.

8) No need for a reflector
LEDs have a 120 ° angle of illumination and do not use a reflector to redirect light emitted.

9) The LEDs have a lifespan of 50,000 hours (more than 11 years if used 12 hours a day).
These electronic components have a duration of 50,000 hours!

10) The warranty is 3 years.
Our products are warranted for 3 years. Replacement and repair in the first year in the next two years.

Okay, thanks. Well, unfortunately, while that light will cover your area it's only using 1 watt LEDs with 120 degree lenses which will not provide much penetration to the lower buds on the plants. Most of the newer units available today are using 2 and 3 watt LEDs with 60 and 90 degree lenses. They are move powerful and the light is directed down, rather than out, by the narrower lenses. I've seen people using lights similar to that one get some descent results but only when they have supplemented it with some CFLs. If you haven't purchased it already I'd suggest you keep looking for something a little more powerful. Check out GrowLEDHydro and Blackstar.

Hi I'm new here and to indoor growing but not outdoor. I bought a 63w penetrator pro a few months ago for small stuff and love it. I've got a Purple Jems male and female under it right now to make more seeds. Fell in love with this strain a few years ago when I got it from the attitude seed bank, but now all they have is purple ryder.

Is that the same stain?

Alright! So i've read this thread a few times over and over and it seems that the people who have used the good name brand LED were happy with there results and the people who cheaped out were obviously not. Well what I am wondering is how many auto's can you fit to vegg in a 4x4 tent ? and how many actual "watts" will be needed to keep the vegging successful..? How about when it starts to flower? I would be switching them back to a 6.5x6.5 tent and how many "watts" should be sufficient? (I've read that spreading out LED panels (180x180xetc) is better than having a large (240/500) watt led system to ensure coverage all around.

How many plants you can veg in a given space would, of course, be determined by the size pots used. If you are starting them in their final pots and using 3 gallon ones, then 16 could fit in a 4 x 4' area. It seems that about 40 watts per square foot is producing good results with LEDs. So for a 16 sq. ft. veg area you would need 640 watts and for a 42 sq. ft. area you would need about 1,700 watts. LEDs do best when you grow within their core penetration, so yes, a series of smaller lights is better than one larger one. Just note that the 40 watts per sq. ft. is 40 watts of 2 and/or 3 watt LEDs, not 1 watters as they don't penetrate the canopy very well.
