Bud rot issues

Will clipping upper sun leaves hurt the plant in order to prevent bud rot by allowing more light to penetrate down to the lower parts of the plant? What I find is containers with multiple plants seem to develop bud rot. Containers with single plants seem to be fine. The multiple plant container plants are extremely sticky (lowryder 2 at 5 weeks) and dark green with tons of resin on the most lightless part of plant. Air flow and ventilation is good. Temps around 78f.

Was thinking more light shining down into the darkness might help.

Yes, those are the main feeders for the plant. That light is most intense up top. Decrease the humidity to stop bud rot. Increasing airflow with a fan at the end helps too.

...well, technically a couple-few leaves won't hurt, but beyond that, Hal's right,.. if anything, it's some of the lower, less well lit fan leaves that can be removed to help increase airflow through the canopy.... I'd have to see pics of the plant though to really make a call if it's even necessary,... much more important during budding is getting your RH down into the 30-40% range, plus good even airflow,... cool temp's promote mold as well,...
