so my 630w seems a bit much for my 4x4 even with 351cfm fan going. Its workable but im looking into backup plans like getting a single 315w.

would these two work together

i dont see why not and it should help cut my heat down in tent. anyone have any better websites or packages or ideas?

hoping going from 630w to 315w will drop say 4 degrees.
i alrdy have three 315w bulbs. two 4200k solistek and one brand new 3100k philips.

Go with some bridgelux/Samsung led strips or quantum boards and excess heat won't be a problem. You'll get better light spread, deeper penetration, not have to but bulbs and for a 4x4 you would only need about 480 watts.

that was the plan but all the nice LED like HLG and auto cobs are too pricey at this moment to cover a 4x4 tent. a 315w just about covers a 4x4 and is in my budget right now.

You can do bridgelux EB2 strips

It cost me around $400 for 502 watts of light that I don't regret.

Strips are $14.14 a piece
Pack of 20 5-way wagos $15
Roll of thermal tape $15
1/8 x 1 x 44" aluminum was $2.93 a piece
480w driver is $140
14g solid core wire is $12 at home depot

Otherwise drilling holes, stripping wires, and hardware. I'm not telling you what to do or anything but saving top a bit and investing in some good LEDs is going to fix your heat issues, lower power usage, and give you a better grow.

I totally get price being a factor though
