Recently started my grow, all is looking good.

one plant is falling considerably behind and is a little limp and discoloured on the tips of 1 of the leaves, also are they supposed to be so dense? i kind of assumed they would grow a little taller but they just seem to spreading in width and curling under themselves trying to fight for light. the images are 20 days into the grow so if you can spot any problems at all please let me know :)

anyways if any of you fine ladies/gents here could take a look at my pics and point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it (also attached pics of setup which is a 660w hps on a 400v dimmable ballast, 6" extractor with matching carbon filter and a large parabolic reflector)

Thanks in advance!

I'm not knowledgeable at all in hydro, looks like maybe slight nute burn. Maybe dwc samurai @derek420colorado can chime in on this lol.

Hi there again mate ;) can we get some pics under different light at all?,full nute schedule and Rh/temps

Hey thanks for the reply, yeah I will add some more pics when I get home, I'm using an auto pot system so they are gravity fed from a 50l tank so the feed is constant. The tent is at a steady 27c in the canopy as for my mate mix I am using hydrobloom a+b 20ml/10l, root stimulant 12.5ml/10l cannazyme 25ml/10l and the ph is at 6.1

Hi there again mate ,Not a problem just apologise for it taking so long :) , Ok those doses seem massive. are you following the instructions on the bottle or are you using As a guide 1/4 strength and working your way up? , the instructions say : 3ml to 5ml per litre will give your target EC from the grow schedule on the label. which brings me to my next question and that's what hardness is your water or background ec of your water supply your using to feed your plants?. cheers man
so whats your current EC(all in) and whats your base water ec? :)
Another thing you havnt mentioned is calmag which is why i'm curious as to the base water EC

Hey guys!

so after a pretty easy day at work i get home to find the tent at again 27.5 degrees C. I'm growing in coco / clay pebble premix which acts as a pretty strong buffer to EC as far as im aware.

The total EC of the resevior is 1.9 and my water supply is at .6

As for supplying images with another light unfortunately this hps is all i have and I dont really want to turn them off nor do i have any other light to replace it with.

the measurements i'm adding are per 10 litres (sorry i didnt make it very clear) so 20ml each of coco/hydrobloom A+B per 10 litres of water

from what i gather the coco A+B includes the calc/mag but i could be wrong, there's an image of the contents attached :)

The chart attached has been the guidelines in which im working from with a few alterations.

The one which was falling behind (back right) has perked up a little today and looks less flat so im pretty please about that

Yeah, it looks better! Did you do anything different, or maybe it just needed to get used to the feeds?

I see you have hard water (EC 0.6). Just be careful not to overfed with Ca supplements.
I have the same water and only adding Mg, without Ca.

I know minerals from water to water are different, but anyway, I just mention.

i turned the light down from 660w to 600w and raised the light a little , also moved my air intake to the window and repositioned fans,

and thanks KonopCh the volumes im using seem to have caught up, im not 100% but i think its possible the slower growing one got a higher dose just due to its size but now it's catching up it seems to have perked up a fair bit so ill keep an eye out and add slightly less hydrobloom A (which i believe has the Ca in it)

:toke:-- are you running 24/0? HPS light is lousy for diagnostics, and reading the colors of leaves, damage, etc. is critical,... That said, I don't see what your worried about,.. not all plants, even the same strain are going to grow exactly the same,... they look fine! Coco is a specialized medium, with some peculiar properties concerning it's CEC properties..but using the coco specific nutes will help deal with that... Have you read up of this, and grown in it before? [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] mistake folks made with coco is treating it like soil, or even peat-based soilless media.... minds you EC, remember they are marinating in nutes, so watch carefully for overfert'ing signs like yellow/brown tips, clawing, etc.,...
