Hey guys, I posted this in my grow journal as well, but I'm pretty desperate for answers right now so I figured I'd post a new thread as well, to get more peoples input.
Anyway, I've been trying to fix my pH problem for a while. It's pretty bad. I put 7.5 (sometimes higher) water in to try and get the soil pH up, but no matter what it comes out 5.0!!! Every time! I'm on day 54, about 20 days into flower for my Northern Lights from Royal Queen Seeds. I ALREADY ADDED LIME TO THE SOIL. It didn't help!
My plant has a pretty bad potassium deficiency now, and I don't know what to do. I flushed with 7 gallons of water (I'm growing in a 5 gallon pot). On the first gallon I added more lime, and on the last gallon I added some fox farm tiger bloom, still didn't help. What should I do!

I replied to a similar thread over here. I'm a relatively new grower, so take what I say for what it's worth.

What kind of lime did you add? Dolomite or hydrated? Dolomite takes awhile to work. Hydrated is fast, but risky.

Have others confirmed a potassium def? I would have said magnesium. Either way, have you foliar fed potassium and epsom salt? That's a good way to reduce the effects while getting the soil back to normal. (Be careful not to light burn the leaves. Spray them under normal light and wait for the drops to dry before returning under any intense light. You've only got so much leaf surface to work with, and it's diminishing as time goes by. You don't want to contribute to that.).

foliar would be pretty risky also right now, mold and all..go to the 24 hr help thread someone will be there to help

Good point. It probably depends upon relative humidity in the grow space. I'm in a dry climate and foliar feeding drys off quickly (30 minutes). In a humid climate, could a circulation fan be used to assist drying?

I think Andy is spot on.Foliar is very risky but works excellent.but if she is in week 8 with a Northern lights its back feeding.as long as the buds n lil itty bitty flower leaves look good all is right with the world.Just fluff yer soil n watch for dampoff n put air flow on the floor to dry out the soil some n pull crispy dried leaves off as they pull prety easy after a bit."My 2 cents" I hate not being able to see most any pics.except a few and some of my own.LOL!

How long ago did you add the dolomite lime? Dolomite takes about 2 weeks to show any effects. What size pots are you using and how much lime did you add?
