New Grower Cannabis Club Smoke-Off - Need Suggestions & Advice

That is exactly how we do it. Every one is encouraged to smoke only one a day and make it their first smoke of the day. We add another 7 days on top of that so people can take a break from the stone now and then and then the results are due. We keep a tight rein on the time limit. The results and winners are announced at our Spring seed swap meet in the Spring. We just meet twice a year unless there is an emergency.

If you want to enter a pot in one of the two classes autos and photos you have to either provide a joint or a gram sample for each member to take home. It usually takes at least an ounce to provide enough for all the members. Sure makes for a stoned December and January for us members. I felt last year I was about ready for detox after I was done.

Looking forward to hearing the results of this year's smoke off. I always find it interesting. Lots of indicas again this year? I remember last year after a couple weeks you were about done with smoking the indicas so early in the day.

Nicky is a cross between two pure bred breeds. Labrador Retriever X Siberian Husky. It is a breed bred on purpose to raise endurance for sled dags. Nicky flunked out of sled training. I wouden't be very good at it either I think. Nicki is a great guard dog and growls and shows teeth to strangers. He loves everyone he knows and is very trusting and loyal. He is smart and has learned a lot of words. He is not a good dog on the lead refuses to heal and tries to pull you down the street and pays no attention to a choke collar. I see why he failed sled dog school he wants to lead all the time.

Hey Nelson, might I ask what breed is Nicky? (I'm a bit of a dog fanatic)

The indicas kich the shit out of me smoking them so early in the morning. Not my usual pattern. I change off the recommended patern. I don't do the usual morning smoke and just smoke the indica after supper. My wife and I share it so she can give her opinion also

That is a great mix of two intelligent hard working breeds, i also have a cross of two pure breeds, a german shepherd/golden retriever. He has learned to pick key words from sentences such as: give, take, going, etc... to seemingly understand your conversation. Although Nicky has "flunked" out of sled dog academy doesnt mean he wouldnt like to pull(as you might already know) If this is the case you could try a dog backpack with around 15% of his body weight inside. It might give him more of a sense of purpose on your walks. I even have my dog carry a few tomato juice cans evrey now and then. I would also suggest looking into a Martingale collar as opposed to a choke chain as it has all the corrective benefits of the choker without the choking(lol), kind of like a safety choker.
Sorry Nelson didnt mean change the topic here... the only thing i like more than learning about cannabis is learning about dogs.

I never mind what people post on my threads.

Nicky will carry firewood upstairs for doggy bones. I love that about him. The older I get the more I like it. Now if he could only learn to make the fire in the morning and bring me my coffee. Wait am I expecting too much.

I have a friend with a shepherd Z black Labrador mix wicked great watch dog. He will grind his teeth on your car window growling non stop and then act like he is happy to see you after he smells who you are.

My dog loves his sticks as well (silver maple & birch seem to be his favorite) ...

You must remember The Littlest Hobo my Canadian chum, The sky's the limit when it comes to mans best friend!
:cough:

Oh Well he carries wood and keeps the thieves away what more should I ask of him.
We like him for his goofy grin and affectionate personality. He is our buddy.

I wanted to give you the high points of the talk out attorney gave to the group at this Falls smoke off.

The first thing the lawyer did was to hand out his business card. He told us to put the card in our wallet. If we got busted the first thing we had to do was ask the police to let us call our lawyer. When we call give the name of the precinct we are being held at.

Do not talk about the circumstances of your case with the police. They are not your friend. They will say anything to get you to sign a statement. Words like "We will get your statement then we can send you home". They will either decide to release you for trial or hold you for preliminary hearings whether you make a statement or not. When the cops get your statement it is like a confession to them and to the court. Very hard to retract. Don't try and trick them by giving false statements it restricts what your lawyer can do to plan your defence.

You must tell the police you can not talk to them about your case without your lawyer present. You must tell them the simple words "No statement". You are so much better off saying only whose two things. The lawyer pointed out that he had seen numerous cases that he could have fought successfully if there was no statement.

He also pointed out that if you are put into detention do not discuss your case with any of your fellow detainees they can turn the evidence in for favors.

The lawyer pointed out that without statements and just relying on the evidence he can make a better deal with the prosecution and that is how most cases are handled. Why because the case is much weaker without a statement. Defences are easier to plan so remember the words "no statement".
