Hey guys & girls of AFN!!
Firstly id like like to give you a little back story on my grow adventure, so here goes...
I've been a smoker for a long time now and i'm fed up with buying dealer weed wasting my money on hit and miss bags that are always undoubtedly under 3 grams! :cry:
Getting a little grow on the go has been something of an ambition of mine for a long time but given living with parent/step parent its not been an option.
Anyway after a lot of nagging iv'e managed to get myself permission to do one grow of two plants!!!! :head:
I'll start by sharing a list of what i have going on plus a couple pictures to help explain.
Grow Box: Chest of drawers (65)(L)x42d(D)x75(H) Cm - Diamond Mylar lined
Lighting: x5 30w 6400k for veg & x5 30w 2700k for flower (5=10,000 lumens)
Extraction: 140mm pc fan for exhaust with two passive intakes.
Fans: x2 120mm fans on bulb cooling duty's, another single fan to be added to blow on plants.
Pots: 6 liter Air pots.
Soil: Plagron light mix.
Nutes: Liquid silicon / Green fuse grow / Plant magic evo spray / Plant magic old timers bloom.
Ph: Cheap ebay ph pen coupled with tetra fish tank ph test, bottle of ph down
I think that's everything so ill share a couple of pictures.

I have encountered some problems with this setup, mostly being temp issues.
Rite now i'm running no filters dew to the fact i cant get the air flow needed whilst doing so.
The white ducting hanging down is a passive intake drawing cold air from the attic and the other is covered with cooker hood carbon filter.
Also as mentioned i have two 120mm fans blowing directly onto the bulbs in an attempt to cool them down.
My temps are 79f at the top of the pots and 83f about 3 inches from the lights.
I think this should be ok for veg on the temp/filter front but i will be looking at getting a cheap extractor/filter package from ebay during the flowering stage.
If that brings my temps down a considerable amount ill also be adding more bulbs for flowering.
Anyways ill stop babbling on now and ask for your opinions and suggestions on my setup and please let me know if im missing anything.
Ill be germinating my seeds tomorrow if the AFN guru's agree i'm good to go!!!! :head:
