Mephisto Genetics Cat Grows Ripley's OG by Mephisto

I hope to take advantage of the smaller pot sometime in the next grow or two. I need to be fully set up for auto water I think for it to make any sense. I just can't decide whether I should have a short wide pot or a tall narrow one. It almost seems to me like the plants grow width proportionate to the width of the pot I don't know.

What I like about the smaller pot is that it frees room and is easier to water, especially when they're young. Can I ask you.... if you were using a smaller pot and watering a few times each day, would you water to run off every single time?

In my tests I found I can get by watering without runoff 1 or 2 times before I get a little nutrient burn. So I would recommend getting good solid run off every other to every third time. And see how that goes for you.

I'm also a little embarrassed to admit that I often, well not often. Once in awhile when I'm lazy I just use my run off water to water my plants and I haven't found any issue doing that one out of every three times either.

Thanks @jingo :slap: I thought I'd water to run off at the start of each day and 2hrs before lights off. I won't bother with the run off in between. I tend to test run off anyway, so I should know if there's a build up :thumbsup:I use run off for outdoor plants

I have same problem I want air pots do I go tall or wide pots they have some awesome 3 gallon ones but they are short and wide I can't afford to buy these until I figure out which ones best I'm going to continue to watch looking at my roots last time they were all around pot tap root was okay but most roots circle my pot.
I also use my run off for all my other house plants they do great.:slap: everyone looks beautiful shes coming right along the first three weeks seem forever then it starts.

Thank you.

I'm not too impressed with the progress of my Ripley's OG. She's now 10 days old and is very slow developing. I think I might pull her because I don't want to waste the space in my grow room with low yielding plants. Perhaps the Wi-Fi unit did something to the poor girl, but my two Green Poison are unharmed by the same process. Here's some pics

That's too bad, she looks nice and healthy. Once you zoom out though, the others put here to shame.
The pic does her a lot of justice, there's a strange colour to the leaves, very haggard. I've increased nutes, raised the light and will give her another few days....but it doesn't look good for the girl. I've got another two seeds, one from a different batch. This is the 2nd Ripley's from the same batch that didn't work and both were subjected to the Wi-Fi. Cheers Jingo
