Thanks for the prompt reply much appreciated, yes 370w at the wall as far as i understand and they say its 150 x 3w leds (epistar /bridgelux ) , i searched the net and some claim it replaces a 600w hid so that is incorrect? Pretty much watt for watt equivelance ? So whats the use of them? Yes sorry the pic is perhaps of the 8 its the same make/brand just the Apollo 10

Ah i see so What do you considder being a high end light that can replace an 1000w hps with more advantages than just lower canopy temps and a few bucks on bulb replacements?

maybee you are right maybee i am donkey of the day but the facts are, this is currently only eu light in my budget coz i had few sudden expenses that i didnt planed, my grow place is like that t i cant grow if outside temps are 27c+ coz its just too hot even in hps cooltube, so i had to go with that and plus if something gets broken i dont have to send in china and paying export and than import charges again, yes i live in shitty country and i dont want to go back and fort with customs and get busted...im in eu there is no borders no customs so im safe.. we will see what the light can do... i will say it again.. maybee i will be donkey of the day, maybee i wont..

@diskokobaja I mean no insult to you, just a little grumpy when people ask for my input then disregard it. It's you're money, it's your light man.

I do feel the need to point out the low quality overpriced crap sometimes, as I was a victim myself to shady led sales tactics. I like to think that by pointing the crap out it keeps the next guy from seeing your post and getting ripped off by the same company.

Low efficient cheap leds can be found on eBay or Amazon. I like the Mars300s personally, but I know they're pretty decent and priced right for a budget led. Most mono panels can't hit the efficiency of cob tech right now, and the ones that come close are overpriced. (At600, bml now fluence? spydr, etc) and don't get me started on that $500 75w 40% efficient grownorthern hs1.....

@Atulip non offence taken, same goes to you, trust me i busted my brain watching, searcing, advicing with all sort of people and getting totaly opposite advaces, and im very thankfull for your help and advice, just becose i didnt go with your advice doesnt mean i dont appriciet it,it just sudcumstances that i went with those and maybee this is my last grow coz i used all my possible places to grow,so going about 100£ out of my budget was too much,if you understand me.. if my grow passion and hobby goes on, and i spare some money to buy one more led for my other tent,be insure that im coming for your advice.. and from my point of view 330£ LED with shipping and garantited customer service isnt that bad... And who knows what will next year bring to us... But i wanna try some 3070 oe 3590 cree cob definitly!!

@Atulip, yeah it shows you was the victim of shady shit led selling, rife in the states, but for importing cheap Chinese crap? I think everyone was the best at doing that, then re-spraying them and calling them their own.
Bollotix
China doesn't care what you call it aslong as you buy it. As we all know.

The led 'disk' is on about tho is actually one of the oldest leds on the market that worked,. hence it still exists, all coming from a company called Bysen Bsled.
Yup Chinese.
Obviously peeps have been importing these and calling them their own for years,,,,,yaaaawn, nothing new there bro.
Me and Lazylathe were the first to strip and show that type of led range on here many years ago and don't recall you jumping in then throwing your opinions about. also the same with mars hydro.... backed off a bit there eh? lol.
but deep down you were dying to share your opinion about that led eh? lol. booooot if you did tho eh? lol
now im the same as you bro, I also like to point out a few things here and there and one of them is "don't slate it till you tried it..." and I have, and its a good led for the price, 5 year warranty. etc,, cant go wrong.
and the owner also does sell cree leds, bit pricey but hey? wonderous cree they are. PANTS compared to Osram SSL80's but hey ho, my opinion through my own grown proof
and me? ive tested most of the leds on the market nowadays,, or helped others test, strip, etc,. etc. them.... seriously. lol. from Cree to Osram SSL80's,,including the Chinese.
Do I sell them? do I fook... for what gain anyway? there aint no money to be made dude, too many people are clued up and rightly so, its what started my and a few others 'truth crusade' a few years back.
so give the dude a break eh? lol. its a good led that will do what he wants, DIY will come later eh? or 'high end' leds.
I think the time has now come for the end of company slating etc. etc. oh don't get me wrong, I could easily be like that myself as shady ledders do still sell their crap, but... with more and more people knowing more about them, they cant get away with it and they know it.

@diskokobaja have fun mate, don't get too involved in the science/politics of it all, get more involved in growing & make your own decisions about what is best for you through your own experience.
Having the best leds in the world still doesn't guarantee a good crop, the growers skills and nature also plays a big part in that.
Peace.

That photon 6 most certainly does not use osram oslon ssl80s unless they're ran at double rated watts..(126 chips, 240w, and 1watt osram oslons? I think not)

You also would need top bin osrams, and running at a watt each you're still only hitting ~2.5umol/j.

If it's using top bin osrams or top bin Crees, then my bad, but judging by the fact the company can't put a web page together, I'm thinking not. Their other fixtures you can find on Alibaba as well. And eBay...

I'm not saying low efficiency leds are bad, I'm saying don't get swindled and overpay for something that should be $.50/watt.

At minimum inquire about the leds specifically, the total light output, the website I used as an example provides none of this but claims the performance of hid at half the watts! Amazing.
