Where ya at Muddy? Your profile says you've not been on since 10:40am, not like you buddy.

Hope all is well Muddy, I had a scare just a couple days ago.. getting through the winter is the same worries as mine and I've kicked it up a bit much, thinking I need to tone it down. Sheriff have been out here 3 times in the past week for random bullshit, searching the fields near my house. Chopper's been overhead too. Really hope all is well and safe with you man. Karma sent, let us know you're doing fine..

Had a busy day yesterday. Went to finish up the job I had been working on when the Mrs. called and had a brake freeze up on my trailer. Smoked the brakes and got so hot it froze the bearings as well. So I finished that job, limped home, then off to the big city for repair parts. The Mrs. had some skin cancer removed from her back on Tuesday, so I'm nursing her as well. By the time I got done with the trailer, had some dinner, fed the animals, collected the eggs and watered my plants I didn't get to sit down till about 8:30. Sat outside for awhile, smoked a little Blue Dream, came in, turned the TV on and proceeded to fall asleep. I hate getting behind here. Looking at 4 pages of new posts this a.m.

Yesterday was a quite day, no choppers or anything else out of the ordinary. I did get a little rise when someone from the tax accessors office showed up. I was out in the garage when the dogs started barking and looked to see an "official" looking vehicle and a guy with a clip board getting out of it. But he was just doing a check to see if any improvements had been done to the property.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words and advice. Just having a place like this with like minded people who understand what we go through is a big help. Situations like this bring home the risks we take to grow a harmless and benign plant that is so misunderstood by many. It also highlights the amount of money that is wasted by the government. I'm sure many thousands of dollars were spent to find 5 spindly plants that wouldn't have amounted to much anyway.

Damn glad to hear that you are ok Muddy, and karma sent for the Mrs speedy recovery :toke:

And you are right about one thing the waste of money that it cost to do what they did. The fuel for that flight was probably more than my mortgage.

Thanks FD, and I'll be sure and let the Mrs. know. She got a little scare today as well. Someone knocked on the door, she peeked out through the window and saw a guy in uniform with a clipboard. Turned out to be someone from the rescue squad soliciting for donations. No one ever comes up here and in two days, two guys with clip boards. That gate with the remote opener for the driveway is looking better and better.

In my town they would look at you and tell you to go back inside while they clean up. Plants in town are pulled and destroyed. About ten years ago a guy was arrested for 9 plants... while he was waiting for trial someone planted exactly 9 plants in the judges backyard and called the cops... end of arresting peeps in town for misc. plants.

So glad to see you still here, Muddy.

The guys at the door remind me of a story of my father growing back in the 70s. He had a nice setup in the basement, was hooked up with some guys in the botany department at the local university doing some crazy cross breeding, etc. My mother had quit smoking after having me and my sister, and she was increasingly paranoid about him getting busted. One day a cop came to the door to ask about a burglary or some unrelated event, and she just about had a heart attack. Told him to get rid of it all, but somehow he talked her into keeping the grow going. Within weeks, she hears walkie talkies outside and saw flashing lights, and she totally freaked. She smashed all the lights, chopped down everything and stuffed it in trash bags, and dumped out all his experimental nutrients. Turns out it was a gas leak up the block and not a raid, but that put an end to my dad's growing career.

Those chopper guys jobs are to pull plants. They never try to push it because in the court of law they could never prove who owned the pants. Growing outside is good for not going to jail but very easey to see from the sky. they could never prove who planted them even on your property. Its not ilegle to be next to a MJ plant. its illegl to own them so prove it!
