Has anyone ever tried Coast of Maine products ? I just picked up a bag of Quoddy it is about the nicest soil I've ever touched ... may be too hot for autos but I'll bet it would work great as a soil amendment ... I'm top dressing a friends photo grow w/ it in the next week or so ... they seem to have a very limited market.

Bumper crop sounds like some good stuff too ...

I know several people that use the COM product line and none of them are sorry they chose it.

I have never used it as I produce my own compost and vermicompost and then consequently use it to build my own soil.

Be assured you have chosen a quality product of the highest caliber.

Thanks Kilgore ... Luckily for me I happen to be in an area of the country at the moment where it can be found and I've got my truck ... I'm gonna take home 2-3 bags of Bumper Crop and Quoddy ... I think the inclusion of either will make my next grow better ... can't wait to see what top dressing my friend's photo garden will do for it ...

I've never used the lobster compost for pot. Not yet, anyway.

But I have used it on veggies, and I love it.

No idea as to how much to use, but I have planted tomatoes
in a pile of nothing but the lobster compost, and they did fine.
Never seen tomato leaves turn such a vibrant green.

Ive used Bumper crop and one other but cant recall the name, but bumper is an excellent product and a killer soil amendment too. Im sorry I cant get it local anymore, two yeas and the vendor stopped carrying it. but if you can get it and your making soil mixes from scratch i would totally recommend getting yourself some bags.. bag ,pallet whatever LOL
