So I'm sat here in a daze thinking how great it is that they've managed to squeeze enough tiny LEDs into one spot for us to grow with when it occurred to me.....

Now just go with it....

Isn't a 4K LED TV cramming 4000 LEDs into a square inch?

And if that's right, what would it take to make a 4K COB?

Or am I just dreaming up bullshit?

I have a 60" 4k led and there is no way you can use it to test your theory. I'll be curious about what happens with this idea.

Imagine the power a 4K COB would have though! I reckon you'd need a bit more lucky and a fan to deal with the heat.....

Or would you? TVs don't. But then TVs don't shine stupendously bright either.

Nah you misunderstand mate. I don't mean I want the COB to have a good picture, I mean a COB is made of loads of Diodes squeezed together in a small space but I'm sure it's not 4000 per square inch but if a TV can squeeze 4000 Diodes in a square inch, why can't we do it with a COB? 4000 Diodes would kick out a LOT of light I reckon so that's what I mean by a 4K COB [emoji23][emoji23]
