Thank you everyone for the feedback thus far! I'm not too sure how the warranty and ish works for grow northern, that is a good point. I do like the flexibility of the auto cobs those do seem nice. What I like about the telos is the plug and play it seems to offer over the cobs, given all the different spectrums offered. Is there a spectrum that the auto cobs have that offer duel support for good veg and good flower?

I love my 8 COBs in a 5x5
I use up to 1 COB / plant until flowering kicks in then 2 COBs / plant during flowering and achieve over 1GPW dry not counting trim
I love the ability to raise/lower/add/remove/dim any light any time I want to without affecting the position of the others
I would stay with COBs for this reason alone given the price is comparable
performance is proven for both options or well I should say appears to be because I cannot say for the Telos myself -- but it looks good online!

Would 4 auto cobs suffice for a 3x3 / 4x4? These do seem like great advantages.

I don’t know much about the telos but it’s a good light. I like the versaility of the autocobs. Raise lower one ata time. I need another one or two lol. Different spectrums available too. 3000-6500k.

That's what's trips me up at the moment is the different spectrums man

I'm running a COB vs CMH grow right now.

In a 4x4 I would go with 4 3500k and one 6500 in the middle. 3x3 just the 4. I’ve done start to finish with a 3500 and they were just fine lol. But I want to add some more and will get some 6500 for veg but will also use in flower. I am a believer that the blue helps with trich production and oils too.

3500k is perfect for both veg and flower.

4 Autocobs will destroy a 3x3 for sure. Great value if you go through @BigSm0

The autocob is as plug and play as it gets brotha.

As far as spectrum, I look at it as

Lower the number the more red. Red is good for bloom.

Higher the number, the more blue. Blue is good for veg.

Common kelvin used to be 3000-4000. With today’s technology, I’ve seen 2700-6500k

That's mighty fine, sweet I'll probably start off with a 4 set then of 3500. What's the wattage draw of each cobb?

Sweet my man thank you! I think America is swooning me to the cobs. Is the wattage draw the same per cobb? Example the telos 0008 is 240watts so I was able to roughly calculate how much I'll be paying for it

He has payment options not on his site so inquire with him. You can’t go wrong. 1 6500 could veg a uncharted of plants for a couple weeks to save on electric. I’ve done this and am doing this now. Have 5 at 2-3 weeks old sharing one cob right now. Gonna be a shit show in a little bit. I may need to make an emergency order from BigSm0. Or bite the bullet before the holidays and run my blurple.
