Grow Mediums Coco adventures!

Today i decided to build the stand for the plants.
It is a 7X3 frame with a 1 inch slope to the front.
Lined with thick plastic sheeting.
Corrugated plastic on top to funnel the waste to the front.

I still have to install the plastic gutter in front and a waste bucket.

Next up is to mount the lights and put the Reflectix foil on the walls.
Since the LED's cover a 5X5 area i should be fine since my room is 7' wide.
Good overlap i hope!

Just scored a 250W Induction grow lamp plus a spare bulb from a buddy!
This guy will be hanging out in between the two Bysen LED panels.
Hoping for a more balanced spectrum and also for a more pleasant light to work in.

Back in the land of the living again!!!

Smoked some second or third grade weed for two weeks...
It was a strain called Swazi from Swaziland in Southern Africa.
Problem is they sell both male and female plants.
The second problem is they remove all the THC crystals from the females and then compress and sell what is left to the locals!!
All the really good stuff is exported...

Anyway i managed to bring 100 wild Swazi seeds home with me!!!!
I think they are going to be the test pilots for my new system!!!

Need to finish building the system and install the Induction light then it is ready to rock!!

 NICE project bud :) def wanna tag along when you get this going :smokebuds:

Yeah I definitely want to ride with you on this one:D

Busy day today!
Finished the system off today, all the plumbing and drippers are installed.
System has been running for the past few hours with no leaks!
Hop digity

Just soaking some seeds in warm water and a drop of Super Thrive.
Jiffy pellets are soaked and waiting for the seeds.
They should be at the bottom of the shot glasses by tomorrow.

Then into paper towels for a day or two until the tails appear.
Into the Jiffy Pellets and under a humidity dome until they break the surface.

Pots will be filled and watered with a very light solution of nutes.
Jiffy Pellets in the pot and stake placed close to base of seed.

I will be using RO water and mixing nutes and PH'ing the water.

Lights will be my Bysen LED's and a 250 Watt Induction light.
May get another induction ballast and also use the spare bulb i have.

I am hoping for an easy to run, low maintenance system here!
Just check the plants and ready the nutes on a weekly basis.
They will also get a fresh water flush for a few days to flush out any salt build up.

For now it is just a waiting game!

LOL!!!!
I nearly forgot to tell you what i was growing!!!

Soaking at the moment are 5 Wild Swazi seeds and 5 Feminized Tangerine Dream seeds from barney's Farm.
I am hoping to get at least 1 female Swazi plant from the 5 seeds.
Also i am not sure what the Swazi will look like or if it is a good indoor strain.
In the wild they can grow to 3 meters tall!!!
Looks like i will be flowering really early!!

Should be a fun grow!!

:peace:

All seeds have sunk to the bottom of their shot glasses!
Transferred to bowls with paper towels for further germination.
Need to find a heating mat as the hot weather has the AC working overtime to keep the house cool!

I have also heard some good things about Tangerine dream, so hoping for good results!

At the moment i am more interested in what the Wild Swazi turns out like!
Never seen a journal documenting this strain!

Just finished researching Swazi grow journals using Google.
Found 2 people that started journals, one a Mr S.A. did and started using 12/12 from the start and stunted the plant, the other guy finished but did not have adequate light and the buds were super airy and it was cut weeks ahead of schedule.

Found a few hybrids grows, Skunk Swazi is out there but this journal is the REAL PURE LANDRACE SATIVA straight from Africa.
No genetics have been modified and the seeds i have are the same sown every year in the wild for mass production!
So this should be the first REAL WILD SWAZI seed grow on a forum!!!
Hope i can do it justice!!!
Hop digity

So far 2 Swazi and 2 Tangerine Dream seeds have germinated!!
Hoping the others join the party soon!

I bought a seedling heat mat yesterday to help them along a bit!
