Hey guys, Totemtoke again,
I was doing more research into nutes and coco when I stumbled across the K.I.S.S Hempy bucket and Maxibloom. I've been trying to find some more info on the method but going the coco route with the possibility of layering the bottom of said bucket with perlite. Does anyone have any tips or tricks with a Coco Hempy Bucket or any additional info?

Thanks
Totemtoke

^That's the one..

And if you havent seen this on the KISS method it's the perfect followup to the thread above.

I'm running my first Hempy now, 2 gallon with Hydroton and Coco-Gro, also with MaxiBloom/Protekt/Koolbloom.

BUMPITY-BUMP!!!! Sorry guyz....i know this is an old thread, but if using maxibloom from start to finish as part of the kiss
tek should i use some dolo mixed in with my coco to buffer ph? since an older person will be doin the actual hands-on work(70 yrs old) I'd rather avoid needing to ph . The water is pure well water, but it has a lot of lime/mineral content.my shower heads are always getting clogged by mineral deposits building up.don't know if that matters or not. anyone have a clue?

Yeah yeah
A old thread
But sitting here on a nice tejas morn enjoying some homegrown......

1) I would not add dolo to the coco Hempy ESPECIALLY if you are not doing it now.

2) since its for "old folks" ( can't wait till your seventy....:crying:)
Do a palimary check for them (ph and ec/ ppm) so they know.
If ppms over 200 invest in a zero water pitcher and dilute 50/50
I've run coco at 7ph with 300 ppm ( city water) and had acceptable results
Or
You can just let them do kiss with well water and see what happens
Yer only 70 once!!!
