Grow Mediums Coco

Missed some questions sorry bro. I eyeball my nutes. I have a base starting poont for veg and for flower and ill slowly give her more until she tells me its too much then ill cut back just a bit and stick with that feed for her life. I hand water every day, but sometimes I water every other day just depends how lazy I feel lol. Ph is another thing you have to decide. Some growers like myself ph to 5.8 for a more hydro approach to coco others ph to 6.2 for a more soil approach. Both work. Let me know if I can help you some more bro. I'm excited to see you growing in coco, make sure to tag me when you drop some beans

I add 2ml cal mag per gal every watering unless I'm flushing

I personally don't. I use 100% coco. You can add perlite if you want but,I personally wouldnt do more than 80/20 coco/perlite. After it drains real good I give it another soak with ph water and cal mag until I see run off and then its good to go, no waiting needed.

Coco can be amended but imo its a lot more work. That's a personal decision you have to make man. I like to think of coco as soil (although it is wayyy different) I hand water my girls what I do is nutes on Monday and Friday every other day I give ph water with cal mag and maybe voodoo or koolbloom depending on the stage they are in. And about every other week I like to flush her real good with just PhD water. Then I go back to my routine. Again you have to find what works best with your genetics in your grow room. Hope this helps brother. Like I said coco is intimidating but it is the best medium I've ever used.
Thank u so much it nothing but coco and I had this girl in pro mix took my time put her in here about 4 days ago and she seems be going good..

I have been to several master gardeners seminars...and like you said...they say it can be intimidating..but, i think I'll take the plunge, I dont feel like doing DWC. thanks for the info!

Dwc and coco are all I mess with. Organics is awsome but I'm too lazy lol. Coco is scary at first but once you realize its not, hard youre going to love it. I had a girl in dwc that I transplanted into 100% coco she now looks like this lol.

Coco is very forgiving. You can literally not over water it. It drains so fast. Once your plants root the coco you'll notice them take off. Just keep the coco damp and your set. I usually just water to a tiny bit of run off every day or every other day depending on how lazy I get or how much I smoke .

Oakton ecotester. About 40 or 50$ but its lasted me a few years. Honestly though I barley use it. I fogured out how much citric acid (ph down) to add to my water per gallon and I just go on that. Every now and then I break it out to make sure I'm still on point but its mostly a decoration for my shelf lol

I have a few autos in [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] pots which is roughly about 2 gal. When I flush I usually just take a gallon jug and pour it in and that does it for that size pot. If its not enough runoff ill dump another gal in.. I go by the runoff... You want to see plenty of runoff when flushing. And coco is literally impossible to over water. I mean its possible but you have to try really hard lol. So if you don't see enough runoff with the first gal add another lol
