This is my first post on the forum so a Big Hello to everyone!

I just started a DWC setup with Think Different seeds and Led light.
I'm in day 7 of the grow and i thin i made a big mistake (i thought my tester is reading EC). i purchased a Hanna Dist 4 HI96304 tester. on the manual it tells me it is reading in mS/cm (for example my tap water is 02 mS/cm), i don't know how to convert it in EC so i can correlate my readings whit rest of the world:)
If someone can enlighten me i will appreciate.

Thank you!!!

There are charts online.. google ec conversions and im sure yoyll find one

The meter should have come with a directional guide. Does it have a function button?

Hope this helps

You do mean your tap water is measuring 0.2? If i got ya right that is your ec, and from the ec forgot the exact formula but with the ec value it's in the chart to convert to ppm. 0.2 sounds reasonable out of a tap. Had a Hanna meter 91829, extech (a $450 combo unit and a cheaper ph one), and had a hm digital tds meter... Than I ended up with a bluelabs combo meter. I love that one the best from all the ones I've used/owned: it's the most user friendly and easy to understand meter IMHO. And it's spot on reading the ph in secs rather than waiting for the value to stabilize like I do on the other pens....

the directions say it reads EC & 0.2 would be a general starting EC of tap water so you should be good to grow bro ...unless you started with RO water & then I would guess the meter is reading PPM but that is east to convert to EC if needed :peace:

Hope this helps
