Beans dropped!
I'm starting 6 regular beans of 3 different strains, hoping to end up with at least 2 females in the end.
I'll be using 1/2liter Airpots with PromixBx and General Organics nutes.
The strains I'm gonna run are as follows: Purple Ryder, HDP, and FloRyder.

They're off to the Wifi germination station.
Good luck all!

Okay due to Greens not delivering my clay pebbles and rockwool in time I'm left with a dilemma and a bunch of questions, hope you guys can advise me.
1. is it safe to use roof insulation as an alternative to rockwool cubes? My other option is a sponge..
2. are the clay pebbles 100% necessary or could I get away without them since the netpot will be so tiny for this comp? Other option is grab a few small stones from the garden, wash them up and line the netpot with those, but they won't be lightweight like the clay.
3. Are there any alternatives to rockwool and clay pebbles for filling a net pot? I have access to soil and coco, could fill the netpot with those if it's viable.

Any info is appreciated as I really wana try a mini dwc, if not I'll just go with the soil! :peace:

Perlite if you can find the larger sizes.

I have seen grows done using household sponges.
Small stones from the garden would work, boil them again to kill any nasties.
You could use coco as an alternative! Maybe line the net pot with some landscape fabric to keep the coco in the pot?

:peace:

Thanks for the responses so far guys, I'll see what I can come up with - it's all fun and games! :peace:

Checked my Kush Van Stitch seed and there is a tiny crack already!!!
Should be going into the coco tonight and covered with plastic wrap for a day or two until it breaks the surface!
I will air exchange a few times a day as well.

So happy that my one and only seed designated for this competition has signs of life!!!
:woohoo:
