Let me preface by saying I apologize for the HPS hue. I didn't want to shut it off and wait 30 minutes to fire again. Anyways, mini-fruit is doing pretty well. The roots have began spreading real good and I am seeing a lot beginning to come through the smart pot. The strangest thing I noticed tonight was the roots beginning to develop along the stem in open air. My tubes are barely perforated so I am misting the stem and it is dripping down through the perlite. I suppose that it is getting enough oxygen and the fans leaves are keeping the light out enough that it is beginning to shoot roots off in mid air. I think my little experiment may actually work.

They won't grow past that. With the smart pots, once the roots come through the air will prune them.

Hey guys, thought I'd do an update - today is day 26 for this girl. I'm finding it VERY difficult to keep the whole plant happy, it was hard enough in 32oz : Bottom leaves look hungry so I up the feed, top growth then gets vexed at me. Lower the feed and bottom leaves pay the price..damn. Ah well she's still growing, fair few pistils now, leaves are almost like velvet, very soft to the touch, no odour as of yet just regular old plant smell.
