New Grower Contest: 32oz. Grow Competition

Thanks for the kind words guys, not sure if it's technically my first grow (don't want to take credit for something I didn't do) but these two plants I grew out for the comp were my "spare" seeds after planting two in 15L airpots. As soon as I heard about the comp I popped them into soil as my main plants (technically my first two) were still in veg - got a little bit of crucial experience from finishing those two off successfully and it's fully documented on here if anyone wants to check it out. But yes they were part of my first ever grow, and it was my very first attempt at topping..anything I'm more than happy

I have two Auto Anubis seeds and some sour60 that Im sittin on for the next contest. Does anyone have any idea when another will be held or any ideas what it will be? How about another of these micro grow competitions? I would surley be down with that. Arkangel

I will be starting another comp. about a week after the voting and the winners are announced for this comp. on Aug.14th...I was thinking about doing another comp. like this one...but instead of growing in a 32oz cup or container...it would be a 16oz cup or container...:stylez rasta smoke:...everyone killed it with their grows in this comp....so why not go smaller...I think learning how to grow in small containers makes growing in bigger ones a breeze!...but I am open to any suggestions or ideas for the next comp. from our wonderful members here at AFN!!..:thumbs:..so start posting some ideas for the next comp....:thumbs:..hell...I could start a comp. for comp. ideas and let members vote on them...who's ever idea wins...would win a pack of prize seeds...thoughts??.. ...:stylez rasta smoke:

Liking this dude, could see some weird and wonderful things coming outta that. Not from me mind, I'll still be getting grubby in my bags of soil but there's a lot of clever folk here at AFN.

I've actually carried on growing in 1L pots during and since the competition, a lot of males granted but I had the ingenious idea of germinating some feminised seeds and I've got two little girls growing on the side of the box. Will continue to do this aswell so I'd definately welcome a 16oz one as well.

I would say if you start a comp for comp ideas, it needs to work in some sort of knockout/tournament type poll, judging by the current comps I think it'd be a fairer way for votes to be cast rather than them being so widely skattered. Just a thought to make life a little easier.
