Sorry I was not trying to make a big deal or be bitchy. 6am here and I'm really baked... maybe it came out that way but was not intended. I will defend to the end the vibe here at AFN. I mean shit. Its more comfortable here than in my living room. I guess my biggest concern was that the original end date motivated me to change my grow strategy to try and finish sooner, thus resulting in smaller overall plants/lower yield. I know the judging will not be based solely on these areas, but I feel it might hurt me in the end.
no worries brotha!...i'm sure if I word the poll right...members will be voting on the best looking plant...not yields, size, ect....and beside that...you know as soon as this comp. is done...I will be starting another one...:thumbs:...:smokebuds:

I would like the finish date pushed back (mostly because I'm one of those that is a little behind), but either way it goes I'm glad to just be in the comp. This has been pretty damn fun.Day 48

bit spooked to see the end date debate. I also thought it was a key part of the challenge. pot size and time limit, not who can grow a plant full stop.
Bit silly and detracts from the credibility of this and the next comp, and whatever rules that will have.
Trying to be fair and keep it fun for all, without moving the goal posts 2 wks before close Id have suggested splitting the honor, in time finishers and two weeks late runners up.

2nd this. I saw the contest who could run the plant the hardest, make something good, with such a limited factor.....Pot size.
This was a different way for everyone to make something different. This would also benefit seed makers as they could see what works with what they have or a trait from a different company.
keep it. I did something different then everybody. I grew in a cheap plastic bag and was growing for seed. even if people are a week or 2 behind, you should be able to judge to day for day growth.
stop thinking the extra 2 weeks is going to get you a win. Ill say now I dont have a winning plant. I do not expect to win. I did my grow for me and to show others how this seed would do with doing what i do.
