The problem is that I have to have my windows open whenever my lights are on. The cold doesn't seem to hide the smell at all. I'm not too worried about the smell inside I'm more worried about the neighbors smelling it

Then why have another chemical in the air? I understand your fear of smell.. and as I always recommend, if odor is an issue.. AT ALL then Carbon is the only way to go.. Don't skimp on something that compromises your grow, it's just not worth it, ever. You say you have to have the window open and that's understandable for the cold air intake - but why not get a window fan that covers end to end on the window and sucks air in - then run the carbon filter as well? You'll still lose some efiencey as it's not scrubbing a closed room, but I have an AC in my window with my CF in a closet and it scrubs pretty damn good. Can't smell shit outside, sometimes I'll switch to a window fan and you still can't smell anything outside.. You have the option (because the window is open, it's well ventilated) to run an ozone generator.. but I'm not a big fan of those either, they tend to create health issues.
If you can smell your grow outside Ona won't cut it. Also agreed that Ona is bad for you and really doesn't work. Get a good carbon filter bro, Phresh, and Rhino are two good brands. Pricey but security is a must. Pawn something if you have to bro, better then jail :smokebuds:
Like I said, Ona gets mixed reviews.. Some people like it and some hate it. I keep a jar on hand just in case. Only needed to use it for a few hours at a time and did it work? Yup... Did it make my place smell like a gas station bathroom? Yup.. But nobody noticed the smell... But I think the emphasis here is on NO MONEY.. I could exclaim he needs $420.00 in equipment or needs to chop his grow.. Nope!

I would love to get a carbon filter but I would need 2 at least as I have 2 rooms with flowering plants. I barely have enough money to pay my rent right now so anything over like $20 is a no go
Sticky situation.. Pun intended. I would consider putting something in pawn until your grow is done and buy the filters (plural) if possible. A 8" blower with a Y 4 inch splitter-reducer to 2 4 inch filters would cut down on costs. Consider a strain that has lower ambient smells on your next grow. Plenty to choose from.

I already have a cool tube in 1 room and another air cooled reflector in the other room but I need the window open so the hot air can go out. A window fan sounds like it would work except that my windows aren't a standard size they're the ones that crank open. If I could pawn anything else I would but I don't have anything of value. I guess I'll probably use a bunch of dryer sheets and keep spraying lysol once in awhile
