Lighting Critical Kush Scrog GN LED

It's day 37 today and 4 days since I've changed the light sched. to 12/12 These plants are just growing so quick. I'm really struggling to maintain the scrog. the side branches are hard enough to keep on top of but inbetween day 1 and 2 of flower the tops had grown so much above the screen i couldn't get them back under so I've had to pull them down with string lol Even the runt of the litter (far right and my favourite) had to be pulled down with string. I also had to put a 250w hps in on day 31-32 as i just didn't have enough light and can't really afford the new h1 (which I'm gutted about) Really wanted to keep all LED. On the upside though it's bought my temps up a bit. anywayssss enough yapping here's a few pics :peace:

Looking great will be interesting to see how the different lights will affect the plants' stretch/budding/yield "kudos"
Hopefully you'll be able to tame that forest to behave - are you planning on any defoliation?

Thanks for the kind words bro I think its kind of hard with this particular grow to have a completely fair test as the gn is taking care of the smallest plants and the hps the bigger. I only put the hps on the left under the bigger plants because its closer to the intake and i thought it might get to hot on the other side. I am a true supporter of LEDs though so would love to see the smaller plants out yield the bigger two lol as for defoliation i'm not to sure what that is lol :dunno: you'll have to enlighten me? :smoke: I'll have a read up now lol

Just had a read up on defoliation. It seems a lot of people are split with there views on it. For me personally I'm not sure if it would benefit me much as i like to keep my screen low, think its around 7-8 inches from soil, so i don't actually have a great deal of future popcorn buds underneath the canopy i do have a few fan leaves under there which i'm not sure if it's worth pulling them or if it will do more harm than good? I might try it with one of the plants to see if it makes much difference

Fantastical scrog you got. there

Yeah defoliation is just something I saw being done by others who scrog photos as they can get quite bushy and sprout popcorn buds underneath - but as you say, your canopy is quite low so you might not have those problems, maybe a few leaves here and there when they fill out to maintain good airflow (dreaded rot!), but by all means just follow your gut if it starts being a bit tight then do it if not then let it go-ooo, let it go-ooooo :roflcry:

Keep the updates coming :gthumb:

Nice scroggin' man. Just wait til them buds start forming and you've got nice long buds popping up out your canopy :Sharing One:

Yeah my 2 Crit kush stretched a good bit after the 12/12 switch.. They're big strong plants which grow some seriously good Kronic.. It's very good smoke with incredible flavour.. :Sharing One:

How do you water in a scrog setup?
