Hi all, anyone grown this Seedstockers golden lemon haze photo fem to completion? I've searched here and all I can find is an outdoor grow with bud rot, a grow that had to be shut down, one that went on forever and never finished, and one with nute issues! On the whole internet I can't find a single successful grow..... Concerning.....

My 2 girls (for various reasons) have been in veg for 10weeks under a 250W MH, in 15litres plant magic soil each. No trimming or anything, and a minor thrip issue (now sorted), and just noticed spider mites (predators on the way).
In a 60 x 60cm tent.
I've got two very different phenos; a really bushy growing one with loads of branching, and one with hardly any branching and much longer thicker stiffer stems. Neither have super thin sativa leaves, or do they come during flower? At least one of them has a strong citrus smell already.

Today I've taken a few cuttings from each and manhandled them into a scrog net, which is now totally filling the space. I've never really scrogged before, certainly not a stretchy sativa.
I plan to wait a few days for the mite predators to arrive, then trim everything below the scrog net and flip to flower. Does that sound like a reasonable plan? Any pearls of wisdom much appreciated. And I'll update pics if I can.

Hopefully pics attached ok. Guess I could make this a journal of sorts...
As you can see, there's about 10-12 inches between soil and scrog net, and about an inch or two above the net.
Postal strike means predator bugs haven't arrived yet for the spider mites.
Never done a proper scrog before... Am I right in thinking it'd be best to trim everything from about an inch or two below the screen, then flip straight to 12:12? Would you fim as well, seeing as it's a stretchy sativa? Thought it might limit stretch and thicken up the colas a bit? Happy to take any hints and tips. Cheers all....

Will do... Had a delay with the predatory mites due to postal strikes, but they are quickly getting things under control now.
I'll be having a little trim/clone taking, then flipping to flower in the next few days after made room in the veg tent...

Ok, so here are things 2 weeks since the last pics. After a week, spider mites had gone rampant, but only on the bushy pheno, the stretchy pheno was literally untouched by the little feckers. Quite remarkable really, side by side in one tent, and one pheno plus cuttings was mullered by them, and the other had no damage, none at all... Looking forward to seeing how the two phenos compare through flower. Before the mites I was liking the bushy pheno, but the stretchy one seems immune to them, which is a big plus...
A second week has passed with the good bugs from ladybird plant care (awesome, by the way) and I can only find a couple of spider mites active when I look with a loupe/scope, and loads of predatory mites roaming around. Obviously, as can be seen, mite damage is still there, but only on the older leaves, new growth is looking lush. It has stunted things a little though.

Trim and flip to flower booked in for this weekend, if all else goes to plan.
And a pic of my biggest, untrimmed bud from my most recent Seedstockers Northern Lights auto harvest, ready for trimming and curing; which conveniently frees up my second tent for moving the GLH cuttings into to start vegging, alongside a couple other Seedstockers autos(varieties yet to be decided, but I'm leaning towards cookies and cream)

More delays my predatory mites seem to be shite, and the spider mites are spreading like wildfire, worst I've ever had. But only on one of the two phenos. I'm thinking of scrapping the affected one, and letting just the one unaffected plant fill the space- does this sound like the right to do? I don't bloody know! Never attempted to choose a pheno and clone it before. I'll ask in the sick plants threads too...

A sad day... Decided to remove the mite prone pheno and leave it in the garden to become salad for nature. Gave the tent a bit of a clean and sprayed everything in there, plant and walls, with neem.
On the up side, I was able to rearrange the one good plant to nicely fill the screen, I think. I'll give it a day or two to find its feet, then flip to flower and hope for the best...

This outdoor AK420 photo is done now, mid Oct, London latitude, and amazing purple hues, seriously frosty buds, no rot and the most wonderful citrus smell.

Had all kinds of trouble with my predatory mites, turns out they'd arrived dead in the tub! Found another supplier that delivered today, checked with a scope and loads of hungry active Phytoseiulus persimillis running around. (Highly recommend the garden superstore website. A fiver more than my previous supplier, but shipped directly from the breeder in temp controlled box, with loads of healthy active mites)
The plant I abandoned outside two weeks ago looks like the fresh air did it good, while the mite resistant stretchy pheno in the tent had the mites decide it was better than starving, so it too suffered! So feck it, I put the other in a tent too! The one thats been outside two weeks is in the tent with spider web type screen.
I've added 1000 good mites between the 2 tents and set both to 12/12 but I guess the one that spent time outside (bushy pheno) is technically 2 weeks into flower already, and already shows a bit of a stretch starting.
So, two different phenos, in 15 litres plant magic soil each, and each in a 60x60cm tent with 250w hps. And both hit hard with spider mites! We'll see how it goes. I'll aim to update weekly unless anything exciting happens...
