I have a large amount of bud and don't know how to cure it. The amount is way beyond mason jars. Any ideas on how to cure large amounts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What is large amounts? I buy 1/2 gallon mason jars from walmart. 6 for $18 and normally get about 80 grams per jar. The Cary Store sells 1 gallon glass jars for 3.45 each if you buy 16. Just a couple of ideas.

Yeah, that is my typical harvest and I normally cure mine in the 1/2 gallons. Takes about 7-8 jars, less if you let them get down to ~65%. I normally start curing ~75% and open them daily takes a little more room and a little longer but keeps the aroma better in my opinion. If you use walmart you can pay online and have them shipped to the store for free. So that saves you on shipping costs. I suppose there are tons of other ways but I love glass cured.

Are 7 jars too many for you to handle? If seen people use rubermaid containers, but I wouldn't think they would be airtight.

I am talking 500 ounces not grams that equals around 30 pounds

Holy crap man, curing 30lbs... I would get some huge rubbermaid bins or some brand new rubbermaid trash cans, like the big ones with the big dome lid. Those options will likely be air tight enough I would think. Or they make those 5gal buckets with rubberized sealing lids, but youd need a lot of them I think lol!

Well shit, I misread that one. Assumption is the mother of all, well you know the rest. Nice outdoor harvest I suppose, beautiful! I am lost there bro, I suppose you could invest in some 55 gallon stainless drums. I have seen those with the clamp on lids and rubber seals but they are expensive as all get out. $700 each. If you wanted to go on the cheap, you could use 30 gallon food grade plastic containers. Those are about $40 each and are lab grade.

I would invest in a seal a meal and suck em down about 90% and lay them in plastic tubs. trash cans and the like will not be air tight.
