Hi all, heading to work soon but thought I would put this pic up to see if anyone can help.

This is a Royal Queen Jack Herer, growing under 300 watt LED.

DWC, 1/3 strength General Hydroponics nutes mixed for flowering phase, with bio bizz Top Max added at 2 teaspoons per gallon (actually 6 teaspoons total for my 3.5 gallon bucket). Temp of room is ~75 degrees.

This literally cropped up within two days. I am totally confused, the rest of the plant looks completely healthy, just the top leaves are experiencing it. LED light burn?!

Any feedback will be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks so much!!

Should also add that PH is at 5.9 to 6.0, light is around 8 inches from plant... I have waited almost 3 months for this sucker to start flowering, this is destroying me:no:

see if you can get a better pic up .....looks like you may have had ph lockup on you

i posted it for the hydro pro's to look at ....now take it easy ...breath .....help is on the way

Thank you SO much!!!!! I will work on the better pic after I get home from work!

We got you bro......:five:

Hi nbeb, CGR is right:smokebuds: .Its hard to see whats up...a few natural light pics would be great .& 1 from a distance for the whole plant too :High 5:

8" may be close the LED ?. Has she stretched a lot the last couple days ?. Have you noticed anything else strange like EC/PH going crazy ?. @ a guess id say your right & the LED is toasting those leaves but more pics would help :Coolio:

Thank you so much for your replies! Here are some pics with a floro light to get some better images. They still aren't ready for national geographic but I think they are better than "mars red" that the LED emits!!

Sorry if there are too many, still unsure of the etiquette involved for posting pics, or even how to post properly in a forum message...

Thanks again! I can't thank you guys enough for all your help and kind words!

Thanks for the reply Vira!

I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary as far as nute parameters.

I did notice a little stretch but it's certainly not hot where the top of the plant is, and not touching the lens at all.

The plant is only 2 weeks into flowering. Starting to wonder if it is the Top Max. I have read some good things about it in DWC but maybe for this strain it is just too strong. One would think if it was nute burn it would be happening over the entire plant however... Frustrating

Would ambient heat cause this? Checked my plant right away this morning and the temp was in the high 90's!!! Now that things have cooled off I am having to use a heater in the garden and I'm starting to think there must be something wrong with the thermostat... Since I don't compulsively check my plants who the hell knows how hot it's been getting! When I check its fine but that doesn't mean anything if it's doing it sporadically . Will be swapping it out today. The necrosis has not got any worse so far and being in hydro one would think if it is a nute problem it would be rapidly advancing.

I think your light is too close, try raising it another 6-12". Looks like classic heat and/or light stress symptoms.
