Curling, dieing flower leaves?

looks like you have things diagnosed for you nben .Have to agree with all the above...the only other possibility looking at the leaves would be nute burn or maybe a deficiency, but it looks much more like heat.& as you have such a beast of a plant im guessing your on top of the feed & would know if her EC was going up to fast, indicating its to high ?.
Great growing bud & good luck bringing her home :Cushty::smokebuds:keep us posted on the buddage & the pic etiquette is post as many as you like & blow em up as big as they go ! :X's Evil Laugh x:

Thanks Vira! The problem has stopped now that the heat has been addressed and things are going fine. Just wondering how this will effect the cola but other than that I have calmed down now haha! Can't wait to pollinate some bottom branches later on this week or next, whenever the bottom buds start to fill out more. I have pollen from a Lowlife AK47 x Hindu Kush. It's not feminized pollen so I will have to go through the colloidal silver on a female from here to lock down the strain to only females but that's many months ahead!! Thanks again for all your help!

Thanks for the info Muddy! Jeez just when you think you got it down somebody comes along with a tip you have never hear of before haha!! I will try to source some bubble wrap. You really surprised me there, thank you very much!!

You're very welcome. Check Lowes and Home Depot. They sell the bubble insulation with the reflective foil on the outside. That works very well.

I think your light is too close, try raising it another 6-12". Looks like classic heat and/or light stress symptoms.

Yes, it really looks like heat/light stress.

I experienced the same on my photo plants this summer and unfortunatelly, they had never recovered. But mine were much more tortured, I could not help them, 40C outside, 40C inside, and they were trapped in the middle of flowering. Besides I had been using my strong LED lights on too short distances as I know now.

LED light does not burn with heat. It is strong current of photons that burns plants, and that current is not measurable by hand as heat.

Just a quick note, the plant has indeed recovered after the heat was addressed. It continues to flower.... VERY SLOWLY! I do not think I will be growing the Royal Queen Jack Herer ever again. I can't believe how slow this strain is. I just hope the finished stash will compensate for the time invested. I did breed it with some AK47 X Hindu Kush. I am even wondering if I will ever grow these seeds because of the length of time the mother took. This is the 13th week of total grow time and the 5th week of flowering, it is probably 1/3rd the way finished.

Some strains are slow and some need different care..I had one go 120 days but gave me a TON of bud in the end!:tiphat:

Hi! Thanks for the input! I took the suggestion I received from another thread I started and switched the lights to 12/12. This was a new strain for 2013 and it was thought that maybe there was a light sensitive pheno in the batch. I will have to see if this stimulates more robust flowering.
