It’s not a free or cheap system but for $77 on amazon you can take care of a decent sized tent. A week without water will wipe out most plants enough that you’d wish you didn’t leave them.

Thanks for your info, unfortunately money is one of the things not in my possession right now! Hence the bottle and string idea. If that doesn't work... Will be a bit gutted but these were free seeds and a bit of an afterthought so won't be the end of the world in my books. Anyone else got some ideas?

some string/candle wick/oil lamp wicks shoved up the pots arse,pot inside a bucket but raised off the bottom,and bucket half full of water ?
