Outdoor Darth Vapour's Outdoor Grow 2014

Took some pics of all the girls, day 2.

I had them about 4" from the lights until they broke ground yesterday than moved them about 8" away to get a mini stretch of atleast an inch above ground than moved them back up tonight on the rack 4" away.

I'll try and post weekly updates from here on out. This is my first photo grow so if anyone sees something I can improve upon I'm all ears.

Lights are set to 18/6, fim at 4th node. After she recovers I'll transplant. Now that I look at the pots I wish I started with 1L size, these look to be a bit over half litre.

Once transplanted and outdoors I'll continue fimming and begin super cropping after she gets settled in.

I picked up some botanicare zho root inoculate to aid transplant. My feed will begin at start of week 2 with wegener's organic liquid at 1.25ml/L than add the root booster a couple feeds before transplant and a couple feeds after.

After transplant they really won't get much nutrients until they flower but even than I'm hoping my soil will provide lots of food.

Time to feed the Frisky Frisian kitties.

Looks good so far gilly, Hope the best weather for you this year and make some super fat dank sticky buds.

This is my first photo grow....

Gilly, I am sure you will find that growing photos are much easier overall to grow than autos.
Finally looked up the genetics of the FDs and it sounds like another winner from DP.

Looking great so far!

Peace!

Cheers stickman, Yeh I saw some journals of the FDs elsewhere and I'm a little scared they will bust through the roof of my green house haha

That's reassuring to hear they're easier to grow, I can't wait to get my feet wet with fimming and super cropping, it's so gratifying seeing a a plant grow while trying to shape it different ways

Damn right its been a nasty winter this year. More -50 C days this year than normal. Still is kinda chilly outside but at least there is no snow on the ground and only rains been droppin from the sky. Just need the rest of the water to absorb into the ground so that I can start to dig. But the worms are out in the puddles so thats a good sign that the ground is starting to warm up and thaw out for me. Will have a +19 C day tomorrow hopefully so will try to get the most of the clearing out done then. Hopefully...K.I.M.

I hear ya! Thgats why I decided on the cheap Ebay greenhouse. If it doesn't get blown away, and it last me even just this one season, it will have been worth the $69! Maybe next year I'll be able to spring for a better one, but I needed to keep the cost down as I wanted to buy two 300 watt LED grow lights ( Got em!! ) for indoors fun. With a greenhouse you can extend your season a bit, it can make all the difference between a nice harvest and a busted grow for us "up north" :Sharing One:
