Outdoor Darth Vapour's Outdoor Grow 2014

I agree that photos are a lot easier then autos. But autos give you something to play with untill your photos get bigger. I have heard a lot of good tthings about the FD good finish time and good end product!

Photos u can beat the piss outta and they will love ya for it, autos not so much
Things look like they're off to a good rip!!!! Good luck Gilly

Day 7

Took some shots of the girls tonight. 2-3 more weeks than they'll be outside. Just water for now. I was thinking of giving them Dutch Nutrient Formula (DNF) Grow A + B starting day 10 at 1.25mL/L.

Damn right its been a nasty winter this year. More -50 C days this year than normal. Still is kinda chilly outside but at least there is no snow on the ground and only rains been droppin from the sky. Just need the rest of the water to absorb into the ground so that I can start to dig. But the worms are out in the puddles so thats a good sign that the ground is starting to warm up and thaw out for me. Will have a +19 C day tomorrow hopefully so will try to get the most of the clearing out done then. Hopefully...K.I.M.

We had a beauty weekend that just passed, we're you able to get out? I was busy with family and other stuff, getting out either tonight or tmrw before the long weekend

I hear ya! Thgats why I decided on the cheap Ebay greenhouse. If it doesn't get blown away, and it last me even just this one season, it will have been worth the $69! Maybe next year I'll be able to spring for a better one, but I needed to keep the cost down as I wanted to buy two 300 watt LED grow lights ( Got em!! ) for indoors fun. With a greenhouse you can extend your season a bit, it can make all the difference between a nice harvest and a busted grow for us "up north" :Sharing One:

Ya man, I have 2 going in a green house, gotta keepem relatively restricted in size tho, I placed my soil in a dug out hole directly in the ground but thinking I might line it with a root pouch to limit the growth and contain my nutrients within the area, they can't get over 7' tall and I've seen some monster FD's

Hi outdoor, yup I started a few auto beans last week but they are struggling to pop, one will pop today I think, another was poking through the surface but had the seed shell stuck for like 3 days so I pulled the seed off, hopefully she survives. My third auto was planted upside down with the tap root pointing up (my bad) so I flipped her around last night, don't think she'll make it sadly

Thanks Ne, I plan on putting the girls in the green house through lots of abuse, fimming and super cropping to keep them short and some LST as well

Ditto(Sticksters post)! :Sharing One:

Looking good my brother!

Thanks krug and stickman, just ordered some mob today so things got a lil more interesting!

I've been waiting quite a while for the restock, wish I could have started them already but I'll save atleast half of those beans for next year.

Gave the girls their first feed of DNF Grow A + B @ 1mL/L and completely saturated the medium until runoff.

I'm having issues with one of the girls, after doing some reading online I think it's calcium def, pH is a bit high for hydro @ 6.5? Other than that all the other girls look good. The new growth on the girl with the rust splotches is looking healthy and overall she is just as big if not bigger than the others. I will be ordering an Accurate 8 ph meter today.

I'll hold off and see how they respond to my feeding and if she doesn't get better I was thinking of diluting a very small amount of aluminium sulfate to lower the pH.

What are they in Gilly? Coco w/ perlite? If so 6.5 is def high. But yes looks like calcium def.

Hi NE, they are in B'cuzz hydromix hp (very similar to promix hp) @ 70% peat and 30% perlite.

Thanks for looking out, I'll try to foliar feed to treat the cal Def on this girl, the others aren't showing any signs of this however.
