I am worried about the rate at which my baby is growing, she seems to be healthy and strong but I have a feeling shes growing far to slow! Ive got some grow and bloom nutes arriving next week which should hopefully help

I could really do with an expert opinion as im a total newbie! theres some pics below if anyone can comment. Also, what does anyone think to the spacing between nodes? is it too small or will that grow as the plant does?

Thanks for any help, as you can see im a bit of a worrier!

I wouldn't worry, mine are on day 11 and only have 4 leaves with the 3rd set just approaching so I think yours will be fine, they look good, if you are looking for a bigger plant try using a more powerful light :) Keep it green

GeoHeav,

You will start to see growth excellerate real soon. as soon as them leaves start to absorb the light, whamo, full speed ahead. the more leaves the more absorbtion.

Are you planning adding nutes soon? If so what kind?

Peace

I wouldn't be worried about the rate at which it is growing every thing looks fine and healthy some times take a bit longer mother nature can be a bit slow at times .

what is your setup you are using like lights and feed and temps and soil :peace: and good luck with the grow

Hey guys thanks for all our replies! I am currently using 4 x 35W CFLs (two 2700k and two 6500k) which I think may account for the slowish growth, other than that shes looking pretty healthy :)

The nutrients I have ordered are Biobizz grow, bloom and topmax and I'm thinking of getting some big bud powder once she starts flowering a little.

Current temperatures are between 25C and 30C and humidity is fairly high. Hopefully she'll get a bit of a kickstart once I start adding the nutes but for now you've all reassured me so thanks!
