hello everyone its me db003 back with another grow update.

I just watered these plants today they all got plain water

they are really starting to frost up now I was thinking maybe 10 more days but it might go longer just have to wait and see

the strains in this grow are

2x gold glue auto from Mephisto Genetics

1x toofless alien auto from Mephisto Genetics

these auto flowers are in day #64 from sprout from seed

Great job to this point. Harvest time you might find yourself walking through "hip high" buds. Lots o' luck.

hello everyone its me db003 back with another grow update.

I just watered these plants today they all got plain water and now for the bad news.

it breaks my heart to say that I got a case of the dreaded bud rot on one of my plants. of course it had to be the plant with the fattest buds because why not. FML!

good news it seams to be only on the that one bud at the tip. I immediately cut the branch and surrounding areas away and checked for any more affected buds.

it was also on one of the smaller buds right below my main cola so it got chopped off as well. I was lucky that it was not touching the main cola itself.

looking at the plant and where it was taken from I can see thats the tip of the bud was smashed against the main stem and must have gotten to moist and started to rot the main stem looks fine as far as I can tell.

these plants still have a little ways to go so I will keep a close eye on them and pray my main cola is alright and if I see and more rot at all I will just chop that plant and let the others finish well thats the plan at least.

pic of the bud rot are the last four pics I also cut the bud rot away to see the extent of the rot to the bud it was on and I think I got lucky and got to it in time before it did a lot of more damage.

Word of advice. If you see colas with dying leafs prematurely....always inspect for bud rot. Once leaves start to die off it can cause bud rot. So if you see a cola that looks differrntly...pull it apart and inspect. You have a small space and it can happen with frosty dense strains. Bettet to harvest early than lose more, so thinkmsooner thsn later.

the bad news of this grow is that the main cola on one of my plants got bud major rot I had hoped that I got to it in time but it was too late for that bud at least it was isolated to that one bud on that plant as far as I can tell.

I went ahead and chopped all the plants to prevent and further outbreaks of mold just in case. I cut and removed the bud that was affected and tossed it.

other then the case of bud rot these plants are fantastic I took some nice bud shots before I chopped them.

Bud rot sucks but thanks god you have grown some nice plants and still a lot of weed to enjoy Sometimes shit happens but these are the moments we learn the most. So heads up .. next grow will be even better than this one.

awesome plants my friend and sorry about your bud rot I've had it on odd colas and on Mephisto strains as there structure on some is so tight i think getting airflow in some places is harder also i always noticed it with an odd brown leaf on its own it just looked out of place but look at all them wonderful buds there making my mouth water also i wish i could give you some rep but its just a high five now
