Trying something different with this harvest as well. Finally trying a water cure to see if it removes the taste and smell when making infused oils and such.
From what I read you basically put the buds in a jar and fill it with water and change it out 2x a day for about 5 days then do your normal air dry. You can do an oven dry as well but I prefer air dry.
They say you lose the nice look of a well cured bud, but for my needs that's not important as I'm not selling anything.
I'll update once cure is done and then again when used for final purpose and let you know how it went.
That's exactly what I'm doing.
Watered cured a grow last year. Just to do it. Like vaping water..super clean..No taste of the bud was the only draw back. Funky looking bud when finished.
That's the purpose of it from what I've read. It removes the taste and smell for making tinctures and edibles and such. Also supposed to remove the taste when you smoke...if you need the taste/flavor then don't do this.Hmmmm. Would a water cure help to remove the taste of Chlorophyll if one were making a Green Dragon type of tincture?
Yeah the water cure is to get out the chlorophyll...from what i understand.
Rum and honey infused tincture sounds pretty tasty [emoji106]
