I'm growing my first indoor AF which I received as a freebie (Northern Storm Auto). Happy with what I'm seeing after 5 weeks since germination. Now I'm intrigued with the idea of putting 3-4 of them outside to let them do their "auto" thing without messing with lights.

What I'm curious about is my desert climate.

1. If I germ in late March, the weather would be relatively mild but the daylight hours relatively short.
2. If I wait for longer days, I start getting into 100F (38C) daytime temps in mid-May. Nights are in the 70s (21-26C). In mid-June we regularly get 115F days (46C) and nights stay above 80F (27C).

How would this strain tolerate 90-100F heat of May? Is this even worth trying? Should I sacrifice daylight for cooler temps, or go for longer hours and higher temps near the end of the plant's life?

I'm wondering the same and I'm from the same place.
I wanna get these babies in auto pounder strain.
If the first one goes good.

Hey I'm in the same place start them now as i did i keep mine in part shade, as the get good sun till about 3pm then my tree shades them till dark and also keep them watered they will drink. starting them now will let them adjust to the heat better imo from past grows. I use air pots 3 to 5 gallon, they will get pretty chunky. good luck with your grow.
