My first girl Lucy. She's been extremely kind to me.
to kill this girl with too much love, (food and water), she has blown me away!

First time grower and I read entirely too much and got myself in a pickle trying too much too soon. Early on she was smoking hot, then came the cal-mag deficiency, which I got advice for on here, (thanks much to those who helped). After that, it was one misstep after another. But Lucy kept on doing her thing, barely even acknowledging my screw ups.
She's going on 11 weeks and should be ready to harvest very soon. I've learned a lot and hopefully I won't be making the same dumb mistakes on my next go round. I've got 10 White Widow Auto seeds ready to pick up from my UPS Store mailbox and when I get them going, I'm going to journal it and hopefully some helpful folks can keep me on track.

Did you driver her around getting the most sun exposure for her? Your grass looks nice and healthy. The plant looks great too. I also picked up early on why they call this stuff weed. It grows fast and is hard as heck to kill. The problem with the first grow is just the scattered info flooding the net. Good and bad info too. All you can do it learn and progress.

Nice job!

Nice job!

I'm pretty lucky, in that I live on 30 acres in the woods and a nice utility easement that gets full sun all day. She spends her days out there when its not raining and her nights indoors under 2 300w LED's. 24/7 is all she knows and apparently likes it. Thanks for the compliment. I hope to do the next round without crispy tips....

Hey and Welcome!
Nice looking plant you got there. Yep cal mag deficiency and LED go hand in hand. Learned that one early myself.
Looking forward to to seeing your next grow and journal. @BigSm0 is spot on about the flood of info, good and bad, on the inter-tubes. That's the beauty of AFN, there are some genuinely brilliant folks here that know this stuff (@Waira I'm talkin' about ya again!!) inside out AND access to the actual breeders or at least their reps!!
Peace and happy growing.

Well hey, she is still alive, and it looks like she's going to give you a decent amount of bud. Its all an unending learning experience lol you'll learn things that will work for you, and just piece the info together as you go  nice job! :slap:

My biggest issue was reading something and thinking, "I should do that". Lesson learned. Next one is going to be by the book. Thanks for the kind words and stay tuned; I may start a journal with a little WW I sprouted on May 25. I also have a bagseed that I've had going since May 1 and I don't know what to do with her. May put her outdoors at the back of my property and see what happens.

There was a guy who made a sealed grow room but read that having the room sealed completely was bad for the plants. He was nervous about heat from his lights so he ran his air conditioner at 75° while also having an extraction fan set to low. He could never figure out why his air-conditioner ran so much and why there was so much fluctuation in the rooms temperature. The point of all of this is common sense is the most valuable information in growing. Books are good and all but not the only answer.

Keep it simple Hempy (love the name by the way) is always the way to go first time. She does look like a fat lass though !

Good work my friend................eP.
