Hi folks,

So I'm a few weeks into a Think Different grow and whilst they seem to be gaining size well the plants have presented a few different apparent issues.

Some stats:

Temp is roughly static at 30C (little on the high side of what many consider optimal, I know)
RH hovers between 40 and 50.
I'm using 1 gallon airpots.

It might not be apparent in the picture but leaves are yellowing selectively, especially the lowest ones (which some have been pulled due to necrosis). Originally I suspected N deficiency, but after I noticed the burnt leaf tips and assumed that to be caused by nute burn... I'm stumped!

Have a look and see what you think:

Any and all opinions and advice are more than welcome!

Cheers,

Nubbz :peace:

Thanks for the feedback bud, I'll take some better pics then post there. The tap water here is pretty alkaline so I pH it to around 6.5 before it goes in. All nutes are organic, so I'm starting to think nute burn isn't one of the problems.

Measure your runoff water and do some flushing and give demi-water for couple of day, what is your light source?

Yes pictures in natural lite are a must, is your water city water and do you let it air off for 24 to 48 hours.

Light is a 600W HPS in an air-cooled hood (CoolWing from PowerPlant). Water is from the tap, left in a brewers bucket for a couple days with the lid off. The spots definitely look like a Manganese def (thanks swampman!) I'm going to push the pH of my water down to 6, maybe even 5.5 and dose nutes at 1/4 strength. I have problems pH'ing run off as it's always discoloured a browny/yellow from the nutes. Is that normal?

On a side note, I'm using BioBizz "Certified Organic" nutes (BioGrow, BioBloom and TopMax). I'm trying to comprehend the reason why it states that I should use BioGrow for the duration of the grow (veg and flower) when BioBloom offers the same ingredients in different measures. What's the deal with that? Wouldn't it be better to just up the dosage of the Bloom-centric nutes during flowering? =/
