I planted some Gorilla Girl Seeds about a month ago that were supposed to be photoperiodnseeds and one of them has started flowering. You can see it next to 2 other seeds from the same pack. Is it possible that one of the seeds in the pack I bought is some random autoflower strain of yours? They are on 14 hours of daylight because they're going outside and we're just hitting 14hrs of daylight now. That's about as long a day as we get and none of the other plants (including other strains) are flowering under 14hrs of light. Just curious.

Kind of a bummer because I was counting on it being a photoperiod. I guess I'll have to start a replacement seed but I'll be a month behind schedule now.

Wow, usually people have the opposite issue, auto gorilla strains from other breeders misbehaving as photos. This seems pretty cool, I'm interested. Hit it with auto pollen and see if you get 100% autos.

Yes, it can be.
I was planning Green poison photo FV for outdoor planting, but it starting flowering at 35 days.
So I trash it...

I’ve got another veg tent with a couple mother’s in it. I’ll prolly just throw it in there and let her flower under a longer (but weaker) light cycle. I dunno. Hell, I may just leave her be until I don’t have room. Pretty bummed though. I shoulda started more beans but I HATE wasting them and I only have space for a certain number of plants. I bought these and some other SweetSeeds specifically because of their reputation and thinking I only needed to sprout the number of seeds I had room to plant. I have a couple more of this strain left but that’ll plant will be 5 weeks behind schedule (lots of yield loss no matter what) and now I’m in the quandary- do I pop (waste $) more beans than I can use to insure that I don’t get another auto OR take a risk on a single bean and possibly end up 10 weeks behind? I’m losing either way. Bummer. Wish my budget was bigger and I didn’t have to worry about the cost of beans. Lol!

If I had some pollen I might. But since it’s anyone’s guess what strain it is, I don’t know if it’d really be worth the effort. There’s SO many great genetics out there I couldn’t grow everything I’m interested in in my lifetime - even if not one new strain was created! Haha!

It's not hard to score, I had pollen mailed to me once but the timing was poor and it sat in storage for a while.

I have a male right now, gsc auto cross, not sure what but it's def 100% auto flower male.

I thought my male was becoming stunted because i expected a female so the nuts looked like a weird set of leaves that were struggling to form at first, but it was actually just flowering on time, I had got it going slow. I'm going to be collecting dust in a few days.

Hi everyone!

@DTOM420 I’m sorry to hear about this. There isn’t a Gorilla Girl Auto version, so, that plant is a photodependent for sure. Sometimes there are phenotypes more sensitives to the light cycle and that seems to be the main cause of your plant being flowering. That’s why I always recommend to give 18 hours in vegetative.

We could try to get a new package for this inconvenience, but maybe the timing is not working with your planning. Please, send me a PM if you like the idea.

Sweet smokes!
