One of my best 3 seedlings, started outside and doing great, got plucked out by a bird! To add insult to injury, it didn’t even eat the damn thing! It plucked it out with the 5” root attached and dropped the whole thing about 6” from its hole. UGH!

I put it back in the soil and watered it with some myco laced water but it’s be a true miracle if it survived. It was as limp as yesterday’s lettuce.

I am always trying to push guys to start indoors in a controlled climate for 21-30 days or at the minimum 14 days. They are so fragile at such at such a young age!! Sorry to hear about your misfortune!

@912GreenSkell - Yeah, I have a bunch inside. I didn’t have a light when I first started back up so I tried starting outdoors first. I lost 2 early on to berries from an overhanging vine dropping on them.

But, she lives!! I woke up this morning to find her standing up. I just couldn’t believe it! “Give me a miracle EVERY day!” ...as the song goes! She looks like she’s been through a dogfight but I’m going to nurse her as best as I can and see if “Miracle Girl” will actually produce some fruit.
