Lighting Distance from plants without lenses/reflectors

they looked fine to me, the new leaves were a little bit droopy but i think thats as they are new growth...the first 2 sets of leaves were all flat and seemed fine...i will see how they look tonight after raising the light...if they look a bit happier i will probably raise it an inch or two more...

@BigSm0 heres a few photos...what do you think? Be best for me to raise it up a tad? They are only babies..

Raised it up to around 16/18" around 450mm...plants seem to be the same...i keep thinking the 3 bears og is really droopy but from others grow diaries i think they have all said ita droopy compared to the other strains...will see how they get on at the new height anyway :)

Raised my light up another 3/4" yesterday afternoon and by this morning they had perked up a lot...i raised it another 2" this morning so hopefully I can get rid of the droopy leaves! really shocks me how bright these lights actually are to make the leaves droop!

I had exactly the same problem bro with my 200w cob light,at 20inch they started drooping from light stress so i upped it to 26inch and they started to pray to the light again now its at 30 inch and perfect.insane intensity

yea its insane! mines 200W over 0.8x0.8m and they perked up a lot just overnight...im hoping this extra height again will have a good impact...first time with LED so its a bit of an experiment....with the HID lighting it was just a case of is it too hot or not :P

I will send a photo tonight if they look better...even looking at the photo from a day ago to this morning shows the improvement...tips of leaves were touching the soil now they are an inch off :)

@BigSm0 Sorry to pester you but do you think the light was burning/bleaching these tips? I know its very minimal but all the plants seem to have this at the edge of the leaf and i havent fed them any nutes because of the soil...doesnt seem to be a deficiency that i know of so i raised the light up another 4/5" this morning and will see how they are doing...all im going to say though is COB's really do wonders...maybe its the genetics but wow...im going to do dinafems blue kush again to see how it does under the COB's but either way these Mephistos and COB's are killing it!

I'm not sure. You did what I would have done though and that's raise it a bit and see how it works out. It could be a bit over watered or the light but she does look a bit droopy.
