Hi guys my dark Devils are now 30 days old. Ive been feeding them grow big 1/2 strength with no burning cant even tell really. but the purple phenos i have 2 seem to have lime color leaves. I have never grown a purple type strain before so im not sure if i should up grow big to 3/4h strength and start bigbloom? I could be over reacting but any suggestions would help I will also post pics of the all green DD pheno that has no issues and is way way more dark than her sisters just not purple at all..

Ill load all the pics just takes about 10 min

Huge hug and huge thanks AFN! :d5:

Maybe you guys can compare leave color? My soil ph hovers at 7.0 and so does my tap water. Maybe its normal i dunno. Sorry for crap pics.

Hi Elvis

Picture one looks underfed - Light green leaves. Perhaps a PH problem and not taking up the N it needs.
There's a bit of a droop on those leaves, if the the leaves are limp and lifeless and you have been watering a lot, then it porbably is over watered.

Picture 2 looks really nice and healthy.

Yeah it looks starved bro.. I think she probably needs a little extra of everything including N. Not sure tho post it up in the live help thread.

Two bumps add a grind Elvis and you'll be rocking round the clock lol

Not currently looking over watered, It is a good idea to let them have a wet/ dry cycle, This will allow air to the roots and as the soil dries it raises PH, the fluctuation of PH is useful so different nutrients are able to be taken up, such as magnesium which is on the the higher side of the 6.0-6.5 PH soil uptake scale.

Moisture meters are cheap, you can also let the top 1-2 inches dry out between waterings or you can lift your pot after watering to find the heavy weight, when it becomes noticably lighter time to water again.

Your soil PH is a little too high, soil PH is best between 6.0-6.5 PH in soil.

do you Ph your nute solution before watering?

Edit - I see you removed one of your bumps Elvis, now it looks like I've lost the ability to count - so it is just one bump plus a grind- lmao

Thanks guys it seems the soil dries very quickly because of the hid lamps and the garden lime in the soil. I feel like lime dries out quicker. I mixed up 3 tspoon grow big and 3 tspoon of big bloom and ran that through them. Now the leaves are reaching for the lamps.

Ill post back in a day or so the devils are 31 days and could use a flush. Fyi thise DD just eat and eat. Not so nute sensitive

O and FF OF is lame.. seems weaker since my first grow. Maybe add some bat shit and worm castings? Maybe chicken shit? Or all of them to my soil?

Thanks guys I don't want to loose my Dark devils.

That sounds promising! :)

I'd go easy there .. I have an issue with throwing in things that i can't reasonably measure the strength of - or know what time the goodies will be released.

I'd (personally) stick to chemical feeds and just up the strength a little at a time! If you see tip burn, you've gone in a bit too strong - if your leaves are still not greening up, then up the feed (but a little at a time) (this is where an EC or PPM meter would be handy, but not essential)

I would suggest you lower the pH of your feeds a bit to get your soil pH a little lower. At a soil pH of 7 iron can be locked out and that can cause yellowing between the veins and look very much like a magnesium deficiency. If you're getting run off pH of 7 I'd suggest you lower the pH of your feeds to around 6 so your run off is around 6.5.
